Another thing that adds onto the 4th Prince being it is the tension with Longhi's hatsu putting him into a week of forced zetsu. 1. She'd have to trick him, which is a woman lying to him. 2. Forced Zetsu is a death sentence for most nen users but a gift from the heavens for Tserridnich.

This doesn' really makes sense. Tseri needs to be in zetsu and close his eyes to see 10 seconds ahead instantly, but after that, time passes normally. So he needs to get in and out of zetsu as quickly as possible to make use of the instant 10 seconds vision. If he is forced into zetsu, that'll just cripple his ability to raise his defenses after his future vision (also it's been shown that his beasts vanish while in zetsu). There's no advantage to him, other than not needing to manually activate zetsu.

You missed one major factor about Woble being Beyond's child. If Woble becomes King after this contest, it would essentially make Beyond King of Kakin. If you consider the 3 decade long process of Beyond involving himself in the succession contest from the perspective that Beyond will be King of Kakin after, it makes his motivations so much more sensible. Then there's also the fact that Beyond is so heavily invested in this contest, but also agreed to leave Kakin behind en route to the Dark Continent; these are two seemingly conflicting interests... but if you consider that by that point Beyond will be King of Kakin, then it changes the meaning of his agreement with the Hunter Association entirely, unknown to any but Beyond. It's definitely Woble.

Liam, you're missing the biggest part of this picture. The Seed Urn. This means the ancestors of each prince don't need to include the line of the current king. If they have fathers other than the current king (or in Zhang Lei's case the king's brother) the Seed Urn either wouldn't work, or wouldn't be limited to the Kakin royals ancestors. Following that logic the ancestors spirits summoned from the Seed Urn have to be selected from the blood of the prince rather than just having spirits trapped in the urn. And if all that's true: that means one of these Guardian Spirit Beasts might be Isaac Netero.

I said it under the last video but Im actually leaning towards Woble. We’ve felt the aura from the cot but havent seen a beast possibly due to Woble basically being unaware of the contest and thus not having conceptualised how she would go about winning. It being Tseridnich would actually make sense. Netero was blonde and had similar facial hair when he was younger, Netero looked like an older, buffer Tseridnich and conversly Tseridnich looks like a younger, skinnie Netero. They're probably the 2 most talented people to ever wield Nen, they both have very self centered personalities, and their nen abilities are similar in the sense they both manipulated time (Netero could move so quickly it was like the world around him slowed down, Tseridnich can basically instantly see up to 10 seconds into the future)

I just had a thought, remember the painting in King Nasubi's room when Hallenburg confronted him? It was a depiction of Saturn Devouring His Son by Francisco Goya referencing Cronus eating his son to try and prevent the prophecy of his son overthrowing him. It didn't completely add up at the time considering Nasubi is willingly entering into the contest to find his replacement, but what if it's not about Nasubi at all? What if Halkenburg is Beyond's son and Beyond ends up having to take measures to get rid of Halkenburg because Halkenburg threatens his plans? Could be some foreshadowing maybe possibly.

There is an important detail that might change this idea, during the hunter exams for the Dark Continent he Kurapika said that his ability to detect lies is not all perfect, if the memories of the target are changed before hand or if it simply believes something to be true whether or not it actually is the ability wont detect it as a lie, and after that every time Kurakipa has used his ability he states "he is lying" or "he is telling the truth" but when he used it in this case he said "she believes this to be true".

Tserriednich is definitely the best fit to be a Netero in my mind, although there could easily be more Netero princes than just him. Neteros seem to have 3 distinct qualities: natural prodigy, charismatic leadership, and unyielding desire. Tserriednich is obviously a godlike nen genius, and is so charismatic that Theta can't stop herself from helping him, but that ability to forsake everything or move entirely for an arbitrary goal is the tell. He was rumored to have holed himself in his room to practice firearm breakdown and reassembly, committed genocide for a bookshelf of pickled eyes, and now he's basically awakened his affinity for nen solely to kill his siblings. His ability to always act with his goal in mind, which is just to see the vision he has in his head painted onto reality, is the scary thing. Maybe he's being setup as a minor antagonist to really demonstrate what a Netero is capable of before the real big bad evil Netero kills him with a curse and takes center stage to be the leader of the capable ones left, just as the survivors of this voyage finally reach their destination. Kind of has a Dante's Inferno vibe of "You step before King Minos for final judgment before you enter hell, and then it's time for our 'hero' (is kurapika even able to be classified as an anti-hero?) to overcome hell itself to earn redemption and be able to move on from his obsession."

I agree with you that for the narrative Tserriednich makes perfect sense to make it go by more smoothly. And because it makes sense and would be in any other shounen manga, I think Togashi wont do it and instead it will be really inconvenient like Fugetsu or Marayam. Number #1 Suspect is Wobble since he didn’t have a Spirit Beast but Kurapika sensed the malice nen which could be the curse he instilled in his children . # 2 Suspect is Tserricnh which resembles Netero when he was younger which would be a shame at the same time because he’s a special character but he looks nothing like his older brother Benjamin and everybody else is a toss up but hopefully Togashi feeds us with this complex storyline with masterful biometrics of nen and counter to it . 🤞🏾🔥🔥🔥

The coolest answer would be King Nasubi himself being the child of Beyond. Beyond is in his 70s and could have done it, helping him win the succession war and the explained modernization of the empire under his rule. We don't really know much about the King, but him being helped by Beyond to win (along perhaps his illegitimate siblings in the mafia families) would help explain how we ended up in this path. His conversations about rule do seem to show a level of determination and ruthlessness, often a source of great nen power. It would also show a parallel that both have been willing to sacrifice their kids to achieve their dreams.

Kurapikas astute nature picked up specifics when he used his chain "She believes shes telling the truth" which opens up the door for the foreshadowing of the plot twist. Her nen ability forcing her to be 100% congruent with her truth is a loophole and if shes missing information or been manipulated to think this is the case, then it opens up pamdoras box and makes that contract tricky to navigate

I just read chapter 348 and on page 11 I actually thought the 4th prince was Netero (bottom of the page after Theta). Dude has his grandad's genes for sure.
