What a great vid - you come across as very humble and the tips themselves are well thought out and seem to be the "correct" way to play these fights rather than simply how to parse. I really like the way you plan out what you're doing for each boss. Anyway - I hope you make many more videos (perhaps some nice general guides as well - today was the first time I heard about "envenom weaving"). Big sub earned!

As it currently stands I just think there is a lot of generalized “DPS guides” but nothing really gets into the specifics on how to optimize for your raid, and I personally find it to be the most rewarding part of raiding and parsing, so if I can flourish a community around making optimization less dull, I’d love that ☺️

Thanks for the vid! btw, on twins you can cloak the vortex and take 0 damage most of the times, mix it with feint just in case you get bad rng and you shouldnt need to.move :)

Twins for sure, jaraxxus is up in the air, and anub is also, I wanna see the WCL data on average kill times got jaraxxus before I definitively say that’s the correct spec to use, but either way if you get good uptime it’s not a bad fight to do it on

Hi! During BF + Mult pop, are you supposed to still save up 4-5 points for envenom, or should I spam envenom as much as possible, even though not reaching +4 points? I have seen varying opinions on this :)

Concerning the BF spec, when you say “as much as humanly possible”, is that literal? If I get a Ruthlessness proc for 1 CP, am I to envenom from just that 1 CP point?

Hey man! Thanks a lot for your guide on Assassination Rogue. I have some questions! Is it worth it to BF on the DARK Valkyr (supposed u have light buff ofc) when the Light shield is active ? :o . I speak about strat/teamplay optimisation and not parses

Yeah we talked back and forth, and our idea was, if you want to, just pop BF on the shield, and stay on whatever target you have your current damage bonus against, IE if you have the dark buff, just keep pumping the light boss or vice versa

Heya! For the twins, do you mean that we shouldn't use BF at the beginning or is the fight long enough to use it twice, thus keeping the 2nd one for the empowerment buff? Thanks for the tips!

Depends on your kill time I suppose, but no the implication is to pop it in the first 20 seconds of the fight if you can, my goal is to set my trinkets on a 10 second CD before the bosses come out, then line the BF Up with that so I can get a 5 CP SND then a 4-5 Envenom lined up at the start then pop with everything

Hi! What does feint do in the rotation? Is it just a free GCD that allows for another chance at procs?

well firstly its great for damage reduction in general, meaning you have a better chance of staying alive throughout the raid, but simply put yes, it can trigger your MH poison and berserk enchants, meaning it just gives a little boost in dps, roughly 80-100 which is equivalent to an item upgrade so its fairly good.

Just one question, why do you go 4/5 Lethality and 1 on vigor :D? is it a dmg increase now?

Lethality actually isn’t a crazy talent for increasing DPS, each point is about 5-12 dps depending on how many points. 4/5 with vigor sims higher, and my guess as to why is because often times without vigor you are in danger of energy capping

When you play mut correctly, you never clip your envenom buffs unless you are in fear of energy capping. Vigor allows you to clip your envenoms less equaling a dps increase

I feel like if you're asking this question, you don't really understand the class, and this guide isn't teaching you how to play the class, its teaching you how to dial in what you already know about it to min max more DPS out of your performance.

It’s a decrease if you’re losing uptime, if you aren’t losing uptime it offers an increase

​@@Sqwurrelly could you explain in more detail where the dps increase should come from? you lose potential IP procs at first cause there are no 5 stacks of dp on your new target, and you might lose any ruthless proc you got from your last envenom before you switched. on the plus sight you gain a bit energy regen from dp ticks on 2 targets, but those targets dont seem to live very long. in your video the first snobold died after 20s, thats 5 dp ticks = 5 energy from tier bonus right? you would have to switch to main target in between for some autos to not lose dp stacks on that cause it only runs for 12s. so you trade losing potentially 2 ruthlessness cps (switching to add and switching back to boss) + potentially less ip procs + you might have to squeeze in a 3 cp envenom if you miscalculated how long the add lives for a gain of maybe 5-10 extra energy. not even counting that you might miss autoattacks if your positioning isnt spot on. is that really a trade off in your favor? am I missing something? is that just an opinion or did someone sim it and the numbers support a target switch for 20s is an increase? I mean extra energy is nice, but that sounds like quite a heavy price to pay. but maybe the numbers support it or I miss something else that makes it an dps increase.
