This Monzaemon was an extremely weak Ultimate Digimon, barely stronger than maybe two Champions. Andromon was another story, he defeated Greymon and Garurumon at the same time and Kabuterimon would have been defeated too if Koushiro / Izzy hadn't noticed Andromon's weak point.

But it was strange to me that WaruMonzaemon, on the other hand, was at least ten times stronger than this Monzaemon, even though they are on the same level and should be as powerful. WaruMonzaemon survived the combined attacks of Angemon, Angewomon, and Birdramon, and Togemon was weaker than any of them ( Togemon was at least ten times weaker than Angewomon).

@@samiheinonen873 Sometimes variants are stronger than the original. And remember, digimon also gains experience, which is quite evident when they beat Shellmon again but in Rookie form.

The reason why Togemon a Champion level Digimon able to fight Monzaemon who is a Ultimate Level Digimon is because Togemon is Data type digimon while Monzaemon was a Vaccine type Digimon who is weak against Data type Digimon like Togemon

@@user-le5xl3vf2f Base Devimon was at least much stronger than Pumpkinmon, Deramon, Divermon, Mamemon and other weak Ultimate Digimons. Giant Devimon was a much more powerful, and he would've done well for many mid-tier Ultimate Digimon. I believe he would've also won Lillymon and Etemon (without Dark Network).

@@user-le5xl3vf2f So I thought. It is suspected that this Giant Devimon was almost as powerful as Myotismon. If this were the truth, he would have been superior even to MetalGreymon and MegaKabuterimon. But still, normal Devimon was much stronger than Greymon and the other champions (except Angemon), which was seen when he easily beat Leomon.
