He already tried it about 3 years ago. He finished Arkham Asylum and started City, but decided to drop the series, as he was not enjoying it. Most likey he will not play it anytime soon.

The whole battle with Carnage was *very personal* for that Peter because it was the thing that *murdered* his Gwen Stacy. And that's what makes this one of the scariest versions of Carnage. Like the Venom suit, its not an alien or a living creature per say, its a science experiment gone horribly wrong; an unholy fluke of nature that shouldn't even exist. Its an avatar of endless hunger, who's only function is to kill, feed and spread until there's nothing left but *Carnage*

A lot of shit goes on with this storyline, but the TL;DR is that, without Peter's knowledge the remaining samples of the Carnage symbiote that didn't escape were stolen and Riley the scientist who stole them, worked with the CIA and Shield to create Spiderman-like super soldiers. Needless to say... it didn't end well and Peter had every right to be pissed.

0:29 I always forget that the Triskelion was introduced in the Ultimate Universe, Ultimates #2 (2002) as headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D. and formerly inhabited by the Ultimates, AKA the Avengers of the Ultimate Universe. It was located in Upper Manhattan and I think on Governors bay close to the Statue of Liberty. It was later introduced in the Prime Marvel Universe (Earth-616) located between Manhattan and Brooklyn in the Upper New York Bay on Governors Island. Maybe we'll see it in Spider-Man 2 who knows. And of course was used in the MCU introduced in Captain America: Winter Solider as the primary headquarters for S.H.I.E.L.D. but this time located in Washington, D.C on Theodore Roosevelt Island. It has shown up throughout Agents of Shield, Antman, and some other appearances. So it's cool to see it in this game, did not see any skyscrapers though so that's a little thing they looked over but that's not a big deal, can assume it's still located in New York.

2:00 The unfortunate reality of this game was it had to be made really quickly (I think in about a year?) and crunch was a major problem. Same thing with Edge of Time as well. The developers attribute Activision for most of the issues they had during development (because, of course).

At 6:48 when ultimate peter calls carnage a monster and says he has no soul, its most likely a reference to carnage killing his Gwen Stacy and he's still pissed about it. That's also why he mentions he's seen the husks before, because he turned Gwen into one. (Spoilers: she doesn't exactly stay dead though which is good.) The Ultimate Spider-man comics are goated and 1610 peter is definitely on par with the OG 616 for me.

Idk if you take suggestions but I'd recommend Katana Zero. Action Indie game with great fast paced gameplay, clean ass visuals/vibes and really great dialogue especially for a video game. Could be finished in one sitting
