Together: With Christ & One Another

Scripture: Ephesians 2:11-22
1. Jesus Draws Us Near: vs. 11-13
A picture of alienated humanity.
I pray as we live our lives out together with Christ, He draws us closer and closer to Him and one another.
2. Jesus Is Our Peace: vs. 14-18
Jesus is the source of peace:
He brings peace with God, he allows man to make peace with one another
Let’s ‘be one’ and ‘live together’ as Christ intended.
3. Jesus Makes A Strong Community: vs. 19-22
A picture of God’s new society.
If we’re going to become and build something that lasts we must commit to being and doing it together.
Summary:
Our theme for the year remains that same because it’s a creed God intended for His people and fulfilled in Christ Jesus.
When Christ came He did more than just die for our sins and grant us eternal life.
Christ came to die so we could live in unity and together with one another.
Jesus came to draw us near, to give us peace, and to make us a people committed to living our lives together with Him and with one another.
Let’s be and build something special “together.”
