Africans needs to blame themselves, why let his family stays in power for that long ? Coup maybe !!!!
@lillian23966 жыл бұрын
they couldn't do anything, the father goes after people who oppose him back then with France support and when they have all the killings around 1999+ so the people suffered and I won't be surprise the son isn't the same. togo used to be a very beautiful country but this family turned it upside down. its a country where you can't even mention the presidents name back then. The African leaders who make things difficult for their people.

I am really shocked by the demons functioning in the whole of AFRICA. It is a spirit causing all this. People lets get together and Pray Honestly this is soooooooooooooooooooooo bad. Its a shame ans disgrace.
@emmanueln84152 жыл бұрын
A spirit? Really? When will Africans start owning their actions? People are evil, they commit bad things, and you're there saying it's a spirit. Then I hope when the thief will rob you, you'll let him go because it's not his fault but a spirit's. Also, when a murderer will murder one of your loved one, you'll let him go because it's a spirit that did it.

As much as I appreciate her comments on the Togo's sociopolitical issues, I wish she could be so bold and courageous to address many terrible issues in Nigeria. Such issues as: 1. The out right rejection of the people's call for referendum on restructuring of Nigeria. 2. The continued deception of Nigerian Government on Book Haram. At time they claimed that the terrorist group had been dismantled, at other time they said it had defeated tactically. Yet, we see more and more atrocities by the group. Worst still, the government lost all integrity when it could negotiate with illegitimate organization for release of their captives. By implication, the President and his government tells Nigerians and the World that Book Haram is recognized and legitimate organization or authority. 3. The zero level of human right abuse. Defenceless human right activist were not only declared terrorists, and arrested but worst of all, killed by armed soldiers. 3. The reckless, undemocratic and dehumanising arrest of well meaning Nigerian with fair trial. 4. The nonchalant attitude of the President and his government to the plights of the oil producing areas whose land has been destroyed through exploration without significant compensation. In all honesty, the oil producing areas are underdeveloped, ignored and exploited. 5. The continued atrocities of the Fulani herdsmen has met no concern by the President and his government. His non presidential executive action leaves no body in doubts that it is a planned genocide of some sort. 6. The high level of corruption by members of a government that claim to fight corruption is a great astonishment. By the way how transparent is a anti corruption that does not to the people how much it has recovered and what it used for. No doubt, the recovered money is expected to impact positively on the economy if properly accounted for. And I want to ask, what is the good that some body who has been a military head of state, "democratic" seeking for reelect. Looking at Nigeria four years back can we say in all honesty that we have progressed as Nation. 1. The currency has depreciated more than two and half percent. 2. Social injustice has increased. 3. Political dichotomy and apathy is like never before. The Northern youth, in their statement around July 2017 described Nigeria as "a union that has done no one good." The Oduduwa calls for restructuring. The Igbo complains of marginalization. Not as I'd these feelings were not there. There was hope and expectations that a government would be able to address them. But by implication, the gross complains, agitations and in fact the call for referendum is expression that the present government has failed to sustain that hope of the people. Reflectively, the that hope was built on the bases of the acknowledgement as stated in the first Nigerian anthem. In part it stated, "Though tribe and tongue made differ, in brotherhood we stand." That was sincere enough to acknowledge the obvious differences. So, what Nigeria needed, and of course still need, is a leader sincere enough, courageous, and committed to realization of that truth. That truth was eroded by Obasango Administration. Compatriot are those who have one vision, one goal, one purpose, principle and destiny. Compatriots are united before they arise to fight together. When They changed that anthem when we were yet to find our feet as a nation. As I from the beginning, I appreciate her comments on Togo. There are much more issues back home, which I wish she could address with much more vehemently, boldly and courageously. Let's not be like our Nation that sends peace keeping troops to other Nations when it can not maintain peace and security for her citizens.

People like FARIDA NABOUREMA in Tanzania would have dissipated without trace long ago, and such demonstrators would have been gunned down by police and para military machine guns and killed like flies, similar demonstrations occurred in Pemba Zanzibar in Januar 2001 and over 100 men women and children were shot dead in the back while fleeing by Tanzanian para military Police, and not one person questioned let alone prosecuted. An opposition chief whip in Tanzanian Parliament and President of Law Society Mr, Tundu A. Lissu was gunned down in his car in Sepember'17 and nearly killed in broad daylight going home to lunch and over 6 months later no one arrested.
