Steve, I would have thought with a family your size, you would carry a second toilet cassette. It would double your off grid time as well as just a spare.

Thanks guys you really do keep my spirits up during a very tough time for me. I won't get the chance to travel again but I just love seeing the beautiful areas that you travel around. It's great seeing the enjoyment you get out of travelling. Where you stayed looked great. When there aren't many plots available for the larger motorhomes like yours it must be frustrating seeing the much smaller motorhomes taking up the large plots. Beautiful beaches near to the site. Hope you managed to get your toilet fixed or replaced. Safe travels guys 🤗❤

I'm pretty sure Thetford do a "refresh kit" for a lot of models that includes a new seat and cassette. I've looked at getting one for mine as I have a leaky valve and no wheels.

Toilet fix..Get yourself 3 M3 stainless bolts drill straight through the plastic feet I've done it to mine works better than before never break again.I put the bolts in from the top an just melted the bottom to sink the nut in.

Hi Ian. It depends what you need. Fortunately the Thetford toilet is used in many UK and European Motorhomes so it was easy enough to get one when we found a dealer, as you will see in this weekends video 😉
