FK wishing you a speedy recovery ❤ Yes it’s called a Hiatus Hernia. So in a hiatus hernia, part of the stomach pushes up through the diaphragm into the chest. It moves through the opening where the esophagus (food tube) passes to the stomach.

FK you need to raise the head end of your bed by putting a block each at the foot of both ends of the head of the bed. This angles the bed so that you don’t sleep flat and serves the same purpose as the wedge. Hi👋🏾 . I’m a doctor from Ghana who listens to your pod.

FK, that triangular pillow doesn’t work and isn’t an enduring solution to hiatus hernia. What you need is to raise the top of your bed. You could have a carpenter cut you a wedge which you put underneath the foot of your bed (top side).
