They pay hotel and apartment somewhere until you can move back in. D. If it’s a house you own , get an attorney it will be worth it. E. For this to be happening it has to be a problem with the city sewer system and that’s why the commenter said to call the city, because they actually understand a little about plumbing

That apartment complex does not want to replace the sewage pump. I sued a complex and won a few years ago. That pump 10 years ago cost about 150,000.00 to replace. Either that or the city is pumping the lines near his house. If this ever happens to you, take pictures, go to a hotel and pay someone to professionally clean and replace carpet. Send a demand letter from you attorney with all expenses to the leasing office. You will win. Note: Always hire retired judges as lawyers. You will never loose a case.
