It is in no wise CRINGE. I absolutely love it. We normally use our tp rolls to make fire starters for the woodstove, but I am rescuing a few to make some of these. To me, recycling clean waste into crafts is never cringe. We need more of this kind of thinking! Less taking stuff to the landfills. Also, comfort while crafting is not cringe. It's SMART! Love this idea!! Not cringy at all. If so, could use paper towel tubes or the core tubes from used gift wrapping paper. Ran across a video in which the crafter briskly sprayed her toilet paper tubes with sanitizer, let them air dry, then used them for crafting. That could be an option if someone felt so inclined.
