There’s a reason why Toji killed gojo and beat down Geto in the first place. He planned the attack. He gets info on them, prepares himself, gets the right cursed tools, figures out a plan, and then attacks him. He plans everything before the fight. If he learnt about Rika (or, not really Rika anymore), he could prepare a plan to take care of that and then focus on Yuta. It’s unfair to compare two fighters who have different styles and or ways to begin battles or fight battles. Toji is an assassin. He comes prepared. Shown when he quite literally had a small knife during the gojo death scene to finish his kill combo off with it. He planned how he was gonna kill gojo and executed it. Toji has shown 5 primary weapons that he uses in his fight: The Inverted Spear Of Heaven. The Thousand Mile Chain. Gun. Soul Splitting Katana. And the playful cloud. (Didn’t obtain it until later, but let’s say he does have it) These weapons all have a specific purpose. 1. Toji can use the soul split katana to ignore durability and cut straight at the soul, which can be used for offensive purposes (can also kill Rika despite her durability, and due to Toji’s insane speed, he is definitely gonna kill her.) 2. Toji can use playful cloud to just go full out ham. He’ll utilize the playful cloud to turn it into some kind of sharp weapon and either throw it at Yuta to distract him or to get up close and get a good stab on him. 3. The gun Toji has could be used to keep Yuta at bay while he thinks, or if he needs time to recover. 4. The inverted spear of heaven. Any blasts “Rika” fires at him, he could simply just slash it away as if it were nothing. As we’ve seen before, Toji was able to break a curses domain with a simple barrage from the ISOH. If he were to be caught in Yuta’s domain, he’d simply just slash it away. He’s practically set in his Arsenal. He could also use the thousand mile chain to literally just keep Yuta far far away. Even if Yuta breaks the chain, that doesn’t matter, as long as Toji keeps the back end of the chain concealed, Toji will be able to extend the chain infinitely. Yuta would have literally no way to get close. And I’m sure “Rika” would be out of the picture by the time he does such, so. One big problem is Yuta’s combat skill. He is good at combat, and if I’m being honest, that’s probably the thing that Toji would struggle with the most. But, the thing is, Toji was never shown at his peak. After killing Gojo (who at the time, in 2006, was the strongest, along with geto,) he just said: “I’m getting my touch back.” He himself confirms that he has not been assassinating a lot recently, and is rusty. Give him some prep time and Yuta is going down, no matter what. TDLR; Give Toji some prep time and he’s soloing.

Toji Loses, ISOH couldn't even fully nullify Awakened gojos Red in time before it blasted him into a building. Yuta's Cursed Energy Pool as well as his own Cursed Tool Arsenal would mean if his Cursed Techniques don't work he just needs to bring the fight to Toji. Although its a dumb thought to think Yuta's techniques wouldn't work, Especially the Sky Manipulation, That would be useful as hell for keeping toji away from hitting Rikka or himself, In terms of Feats Yuta takes it easily, Beating Special Grade Geto in 0 is a greater feat then toji taking out Grade 1 Geto/Gojo. The Cast Considers Yuta the #2 their second most powerful combatant to pit against kenjaku or sukuna, Maki a person with the same stats as Toji is the most expendable.

@@coal159 In the manga it’s stated the spear can nullify cursed techniques with slashes, not blocks. Maximum red is not more powerful than infinity, so that is absolutely untrue. And there’s no point in mentioning stats as I stated in my comment, Tojo doesn’t just rely on his strength and actually takes things into consideration during battle. He will also be prepared because the only reason he would be fighting Yuta is because of him being his bounty. He stated that he needed to make a plan before fighting Gojo, because of his technique. He’ll know yuta is a special grade and take extra precaution. Sky Manipulation would be identified as a cursed technique as well, so the ISOH would be able to nullify it with a barrage. Even if Yuta pops domain it’ll be broken by ISOH barrage. Toji is just way too calm and collected during battle to be caught off guard like that. And as you stated, “he just needs to bring the fight close to Toji” well, that’s not gonna happen. Toji has way too many tools in his arsenal to let that happen unless he has an opening and gets close to Yuta. I still believe that Toji takes the dub. (In my opinion)

Yuta has been stated by Gojo multiple times over to have MORE potential than him, alongside the likes of Hakari and Yuji, and he's still a teenager too. Gojo hadn't learned the continuous limitless barrier and still needed to refine his skills, as shown by how he only started actually being impervious to damage as he grew older. Yuta, on the other hand, was stronger than already matured Geto and has CT stealing power, not to mention he currently has the biggest amount of CE in the whole verse. He can copy and counteract infinity, if not, domain expansion (another aspect gojo did not have as a teen) and cursed speech as to affect Gojo through Infinity. I'm pretty sure he also can do simple domain, and while he keeps it active, the independent spirit of Rika can keep pounding down on Gojo for an opportunity to arise. You never read the manga properly is my guess, because Gojo ADMITTED Yuta has more potential.

Look I’m a Toji fan but we need to look at the facts. Gojo as a CHILD was able to detect toji, that was the whole point of him making a elaborate plan to tire 16 year old pre awakened gojo, and on top of that you had to remember gojo got hit with a weapon he didn’t even know existed at the time it was the perfect counter measure for GOJO at the time because he was so used to using infinity not knowing that he was going against the one weapon that could get through infinity .Yuta would’ve probably just put effort into dodging that attack since he doesn’t have infinity to rely on.
