Looking at the feedback you linked to and based on my experience UDL is broken and unusable. Maybe hold back on advertising it until it's working.

How can I allow all my players to share all vision with each other?
@GuiltySparki4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this helpful video! What would be really handy is if the token's vision (darkvision yes/no and range) is set automatically by the race chosen in the character sheet upon linking the token to the sheet.

Nice nice nice nice niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! Thanks for this video, today I'm going to set dynamic light for the first time. We are going to play the final chapter of The Lost Mine of Phandelver.

Has this been updated anywhere else? I have something called "Night Vistion Effect" and the possibiity for Nocturnal or Dimming. What's that all about?

I am a DM and am currently having problems with ctrl+L. I am trying to give all of my players vision in a DARK dungeon where "daylight mode" would not be used. They all have dark vision. However, when I want to see what JUST ONE token can see, and not the other tokens, when I use ctrl+L, it will show me EVERY TOKEN I have's vision. Enemies included. How can I use this mechanic to only show me the vision of the token I have selected is?

Does my players also need to have a plus account in order to the dynamic to work?

No only the DM needs it.

will this save to the character sheet or will I have to redo this when I change map for my players and redrop tokens?
@Roll20App4 жыл бұрын
Make sure to set the token's vision and THEN save the token to a character sheet. All settings you input should be saved.

@@Roll20App as soon as i removed token image in the sheet and replaced it with the current token it saved. Thanks so much! One more thing. Sometimes my GM tokens disappear behind the map while using dynamic lighting. Do we know how to fix it so i can see both token and gm layer tokens as DM?
@Roll20App4 жыл бұрын
@@justinwales3831 Awesome! For the tokens, double check which layer everything is on. As long as the GM tokens are on the GM layer, they shouldn't be disappearing behind the map. If somehow they've switched layers, you can always "move to back" on the map and that should resurface your tokens. If that keeps happening with tokens that are definitely not on the same layer as the map, please submit a help ticket because uh... that shouldn't happen. roll20.io/helpme

Do you need to update the token everytime you drop it on the map?
@Roll20App4 жыл бұрын
If you input the token settings and then choose that token as Default Token on the character sheet, your settings will be saved! So you can drop it onto any map with the correct settings.
