Toki Remake (PC) All Bosses (No Damage). It is an action plaformer game originally released digitally in December 2018 for Switch and June 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and MacOS. It is a remake/remaster of the original Toki Arcade game, originally developed by Golgoth Studio but later finished and released by Microïds.

I used to play this all the time at the arcade in our Little Caesar’s as a kid. It never struck me as something that was a candidate for a remake over the years, but I’m really glad they did.

Zorzamoth feels so different. In the original it is made of crystal (not only the eyes) and it breaks down to pieces when defeated. On another note, I guess this could be the original intention but used to think that the final boss' damaged form was a sort of shell, not its organs! Had enough intestines with the third boss :D

Completed Toki tonight and I really enjoyed it. I just wished they included the Arcade version as a unlockable after you finished the game as I haven't played it for over 24 years. I loved playing it in the arcade in the early 90s and.I was a bit disappointed with the Mega Drive as it wasn't really an arcade port.

@@xnet-pvzok728 Vector is the type of image that use lines instead of pixel, that's mean doesn't matter how much you zoom at it the quality doesn't change. Many flash games are made using vector, go on any classic newgrounds game and you will realized as you select "Zoom in" some images become more pixelated and others don't.

Boss 1: he now looks more like an orc instead of an insanely racist stereotype. Midboss 1: the biggest boss in the game, despite only being a mid boss. Boss 2: hasn't changed a bit except maybe the thorn on its shoulder. Midboss 2: it has one. Boss 3: still freakish and memorable. Boss 4: disappointingly demoted from a crustal Mammoth into a regular mammoth. Boss 5: still surprisingly easy like he was in the original. Boss 6: why do dragons always end up being the easiest boss in the game?

I used to play the arcade version on my aunts laundromat all the time. She would let me play all the games for free and this was one of my favorites. The other being a soccer theme pinball machine and cruise n world arcade.

Apparently it was planned to leave in 2011 but was delayed for reasons I do not know.

The simple reason may be that it took long to secure the necessary funding. In 2011 the interest for remakes, revivals and retrostyled games wasn't still quite as high as today, so it may have taken some years of the project staying frozen before the times were mature to find the necessary interest.

Those minecarts before the last boss always made for a shitty checkpoint. I'm glad I only paid £2.39 for this. £16 pound would support the indy developer, but the full price could only be justified with galleries, and maybe original arcade mode.

These indie games look good with their hi res 2D vector sprites. But I've noticed that 80% of these games have a limited number of sprites in their animations, so that's why they look all janky all the time.. like stop motion. If you play 90s SNES games, games are 16 bit sprites, but their animations are very fluid and smooth cause they actually cared to make lots of frames for their animations. I'm a artist, so I'm not easily "wowed" by hi res drawings alone, if you use a pathetically low amount of frames for your animations, that's called being lazy and rushing your project.
