Makes me appreciate how much of a graphical and mechanical leap they made going straight from SFV to SF6, the latter plays and feels so much smoother and more impactful. I can tell they were using Luke as sort of the foundation for how they wanted to tweak 6's gameplay.

Luke's sandblaster feels so much more impactful in 5 than in 6. The animation is sick too its like a sharp, solid laser beam compared to sf6 where it looks like small wispy fire ball

Tomorrow is the big Showcase for SF6 with the reveal of the wanted Open Beta and after this, SFV gonna continue a little alive, but SF6 gonna became the new competitive and content creation FG.

Ending with a SFVI character for the final season was cool, but...Like... Luke's animations look kinda weird. The intro isn't much, his round win pose looks janky, and his CA is pretty underwhelming tbh

His animations in SF5 are supposed to be sloppy, he's clearly an amateur fighter who doesn't 100% know what he's doing. What's weird is that he keeps his amateurish animations from 5 in 6 when it's several years between games and he's opened his own gym, he should have a much cleaner fighting style at this point.

@KTH96 Honestly right from the beginning Luke was weirdly animated. As an MMA guy myself he's not even sloppy, his form in general is just wrong wholesale. An amateur would still at the very least know how to throw proper punches, Luke telegraphs so much and drops his guard constantly while also sustaining poses that leave his vitals wide up. Like, his neutral Medium Punch that chains into a 4 hit target combo? Bro needs to relax his shoulder; literally takes power away from the punch, makes it easier to see coming and leaves his ribs more exposed and for longer because he is leaving his arm out.
