My friend Kerstin was a HUGE Tokio Hotel fan. We met at a Tokio Hotel Fan Club meeting back in 2010 when we were 14 years old and we’ve been friends ever since. She passed away from synovial sarcoma the day this song was announced and this song came out the day of her birthday. It would’ve been the perfect gift for her. The day she passed away was very shocking to all of us because we all thought she was undergoing treatment out of the country when in reality she came back, never told anyone, isolated herself from everyone and wouldn’t answer anyone. She had been here for 3 months and nobody knew except her family and they weren’t allowed to tell anyone because she didn’t want them to. That was her white lie. She didn’t want her friends to see her like that. And that’s the reason this song is so important to me. It just makes me cry every fucking time. Also ich bin mit 23 Jahren das zweite Mal positiv überrascht, also glaub dass die Jungs grad nen Wandel durch machen und neues testen... Blöd gesagt, aber mit 16 hab ich durch den Monsun gefühlt und heute fühlt ich das hier, dieses mal is es wirklich keine schlechte idee... Das was ihnen wirklich im Weg steht is grad eben tokio hotel als name (bloß nicht ändern, is halt n Erkennungszeichen) und gntm... Ich kannte das lies ohne gntm und muss mich vor Freunden zusammen reißen um nicht komplett ausm Feld zu viben... Ka was die mit der bitch show an sich haben, anscheinend alle richtige simps aber joa... Warum kümmert es einen immer die Vergangenheit zu erwähnen während der Künstler eine neue Richtung einschlägt bzw an dieser teilnimmt?

@@lykanthrop4325 Ich finde es sogar sehr beachtlich von den Jungs so einen krassen Musikstilwechsel hingelegt zu haben. Das muss man sich auch erstmal trauren, schließlich riskiert man seine Fanbase. Aber Tokio Hotel war damals authentisch und ist es bis heute. Das ist der Grund warum ich sie so feier. Sie stehen halt hinter dem, was sie tun und d merkt man. Aber stimmt, der Name allein steht ihnen zumindest in Deutschland im Weg. Wobeis mir persönlich inzwischen egal ist, blöd angeschaut zu werden wenn ich sage ich feier den Song VON Tokio Hotel. Viele sind auch sehr überrascht, dass es die noch gibt.
