The emotional depth remains. And, unlike with many if not most other misicians, they alway (since the very beginning) manage to let every instrument shine. In lots of other artists' songs, the instruments kind of blend together. With Tokio Hotel you can always hear and appreciate every nuance. So yeah, their music style changed a lot, but the layers underneath are still the same.

I’m so happy to hear a song I really like again. I haven’t felt that since Humanoid, which in my opinion was the last good album. I hate to have to say that, because I still believe in TH and their talent. I was thrilled when they put out Kings of Suburbia, I bought the box-set without listening to it, but the disappointment was huge. I listened in to subsequent albums, but never got that good vibe I had with their earlier stuff. So is liking this song this a sign of hope for me? I hope so!
