『Namahage』 (English translation) In the remotest area, the powder snow brings The festive season to the old traditional village Ever since the mythical era, all through many long years Our visitors keep coming back to warn us Heavier than the mountain is our sin Deeper than the ocean is our karma “Is there a loafer here?” “Is there a crybaby here?” Shabby long hair and coats made of straws Red faces just showing wrath To save the misguided souls with delusion They themselves decided to be menacing gods Darker than the night is our nature Hotter than the fire is our desire “Is there a loafer here?” “Is there a crybaby here?” Severity, this is love Vehemence, this is mercy Tender heart, this is harmful “Is there a loafer here?” “Is there a crybaby here?” “Is there a loafer here?” “Is there a crybaby here?” “Is there a loafer here?” “Is there a crybaby here?”

When the old man was young, death came for him. He offered death a simple challenge, if you rock harder I die, if I rock harder we go on tour. Thirty years later they are still on tour; there is also a drummer.

"Ok, we tour," said Death. "But I get to choose anyone I want to be our drummer." And thus, Death raised Elvis from the dead to play the drums for them.

These guys are amazing. They remind me of an Asian Black Sabbath. Great playing, great riffs, great drumming, and so much music from a three piece band. Definitely one of my favorite bands I've discovered in a while.

Yes ! Not the Nu Metal crap that is being passed off today with Cookie Monster vocals. You can hear the Sabbath influence with Ningen Isu, but the Japanese culture, music, and especially the lyrics and singing make Ningen Isu unique as well. Kinda the Rush of Heavy Metal. lol. Being a 3 piece and Rocking as hard as most bands with 4 or 5 members is also a testament to their musicianship and talent as artists. Glad to know I'm not the only person in the U.S. listening to these guys. If they ever tour the U.S. (they've been to England and Germany for a few concerts) I'm fucking going and seeing these MoFo's! Since you are a metal Mofo yourself check Sakis Tolis - "Among the Fires of Hell". Fantastic album. He's a Greek artist, and this is his solo album he released free on KZbin a couple years ago. Ignea from Ukraine try the song "Alga". Female singer, really good and split their songs between English and Ukrainian. Lacuna Coil from Italy - anything the "Komalies" album and newer. 4 a song: "Blood, Tears, Dust". Dual singers guy and gal. With the gal being Christina Scabia and she's one of my favorite metal singers right now. Amazing voice. "Seas on the Moon" couple of brothers from Moldova. song "The Regress" w/ Lena Scissorhands (also from Moldova and also a great female singer. She flat out kicks ass as a metal artist). Bandmaid 5 girls from Japan that know how to Rock as well. Try "Thrill" 4 a song. Don't judge these girls by the way they look. Met in music college, and all are great musicians with 2 girls sharing the main vocal duties. Hope one or all puts a smile on your face. "Life without (heavy metal) music would be a Mistake"! Take care from Ohio! (oh shit, almost forgot Mississippi Bones. A 6 piece Ohio band with male and female singer. They are more hard rock, but also really good and unique with alot of fun tongue in cheek lyrics. 4 a song try "Bog Monster"" and the album with a blue horse on the cover doesn't have a bad song on it! Gotta plug an Ohio band with all these international acts. lol).

I found these guys about 8 months ago as of now and Namahage is still on repeat! I mean when I hear that middle solo/melody, it is so good and makes me want to mosh until I can't mosh no more! This song is so incredibly made it's sick they have never gotten recognized in the states or elsewhere! Rock on Nguyen ISU!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
