Correction with the gokai blue 5 slash attack, you don’t need Gokai Blue Specific, just any blue ranger key so you can technically use GingaBlue, HurricaneBlue, MagiBlue, ShinkenBlue, and GoseiBlue in it to unlock the attack.

Premium Bandai should also make a memorial edition toy of the Gokai Spear for Gokai Silver and the gokai galleon buster that way we have all gokaiger merchandise as memorial editions

I can imagine a Memorial Gokai Spear with part of the handle extention piece being a separate, removable piece for size and storage purposes. Maybe it could come in an optional set with the remaining Sixth Ranger Keys yet to get the Memorial treatment.

There’s actually one more sound in both weapons. If you hold the trigger while turning the key, you activate the simultaneous Sword & Gun finisher sound. You have to do that for both weapons, then activate the attack together, and sounds will play in sync from both weapons.

Can't wait for my set to arrive, now im itching for Basco's trumpet (i can just see it drop on P-Bandai and it including the extra ranger keys) or even the gokai spear with the missing 6th ranger keys (if they managed that...maybe they could make a premium Ryuko no geki)

It's possible the key reading mechanism is more simple, only able to recognise specifically the blue key for budget reasons, so fitting in the Twokai stuff would have required actual engineering and not just an extra sound file.

Yeah it only recognizes you put a Blue key in to unlock the 5 blade attack, not specifically gokai blue

As usual, Lazy Bandai, deliberately not including extra sounds to have an excuse for a v2 -__- maybe the pre order sales are low so they didn't bother improving and putting more, that's the problem with bandai, always having a Pre order before showing all the features, they're always showing unfinished product in their promotions.

i love that the saber has the blue ranger key becuase they keep in mind the things that might be suttle

For me, the light in the guns barrel when you fire without the key should turn off a bit sooner as in the show it only flashes for a split second

The light up blade reminds me of the American counterpart from the Super Megaforce toyline the Super Mega Saber I also wonder if Bandai got that idea from that version in addition to footage from Gokaiger as well? These are also worth having if anyone also likes Super Megaforce I like both Gokaiger & Super Megaforce even if the latter sucked.

Really disappointed that the metallic Gokaiger keys don’t have unique key cuts. Also the Gokai Saber on its own was $300 while the combo set $360

I just started my ranger key collection with 33 keys and the legendary edition changer and seeing these I just want them for the screen accuracy and scale, especially the fact that I have big hands so the sword will be more comfortable for maybe cosplaying someday, but I know I will end up with doubles of a lot of keys

imo, the memorial ryusoulger swords do it better (even if the gaisoulken is more limited than the ryusoulken) bc that is what they use for form changes and it is their only weapon, while the gokai saber is mainly (or only) used by them in their main form and the keys are only used for the finisher

Alittle disappointed that you didn't use both the saber and the gun together to see if the timing of the sounds match-up. As definitely one of the cooler stuff they do is using the weapons to press the buttons together at the same time to place their keys!
