I can't remember when was the first time I watched this, maybe 9 years now? I don't know, but I keep coming back here every, like, 6 months to remember this master piece, and I specially love the hotel part, because that type of luxury is something that I'm working to be able to give to my loved ones someday. I like the hotel part also for another reason - I like the way how the lady is smiling when preparing the room. I know it is "acted" - but you see this kind of smile quite often in Japan. Genuine or not - it is always a pleasure to experience this!

I got back from 11 months in Japan in August. Many of the scenes here take me back to my vacations to Tokyo, my explorations of Hirosaki's traditional/historical sites, and the festivals of Aomori Prefecture (23:12's Nebuta festival, for example). And the music is close to the experience of a peaceful early winter.
