Great effect to the atmosphere. I can get feeling of motion from the clouds. Also It feels cold just by looking at the painting. I really like it.

Really good color choices here, I've been struggling to find good uses for my Potter's Pink watercolor and am inspired by your painting. Thank you :)
@mattjabbar6 жыл бұрын
Potter's Pink became an instant favorite since I bought it last year (it was released in 2017). It's not so intensive but makes beautiful granulating effects when mixed (especially with more intensive colors like Payne's Gray). I recommend trying it out.

Podoba mi się ten detalik z otwartym oknem ;) W sensie, że zazwyczaj rysuje się wszystkie okna zamknięte ;D A tu takie miłe urozmaicenie :)

Hi! Really beautiful painting! For the buildings, how long do you wait for the paint to dry before adding a darker shade? :)
@mattjabbar6 жыл бұрын
Until it's completely dry. It differs depending on the paper, amount of water used etc. Sometimes I use a hair dryer to speed things up.
@DeliCaro6 жыл бұрын
You don't wet the paper before using color? (Sorry if it's a stupid question, I'm just starting in this very delicate form of paint).
@mattjabbar6 жыл бұрын
I don't use so much water while painting that paper buckling or warping is a problem for me. Juts taping good 300g/m paper to a board is enough :)

awesome work and video again. Quick question : When you erase the pencil after you're done with the linework /inking does the ink wear off a little? Does this happen with every eraser or ink?
@mattjabbar6 жыл бұрын
It depends on the paper/ink mix.With the set I'm using here almost no fading occurs.

How long does it take to dry the paint or can you put them together ? I like watercolor more than acrylic but it is harder. I did it once but that was a long time ago.
@mattjabbar6 жыл бұрын
It's fast to dry, 10 minutes I guess?

I would like to ask if you change the color from the picture you took of it or if you try to use the similar color?
@mattjabbar6 жыл бұрын
The theme is similar but I try to make the colors more atmospheric and interesting.

Hello, hope you doing well. I would like to know what you work with? Concept art for some company? Maybe for yourself? I'm very curious about it, because i want to follow this career :) Cheers from Brazil
@mattjabbar6 жыл бұрын
I work mostly doing my own art, having online shops and patreon. I sometimes do commissions (about 5 bigger commissions per year). I also have some money from the sales of my comic and book :) I don't work for any company nor studio at the moment.
