Hi Sarah, just read in the news that Japan had donated $1billion to support Ukraine in this hard time. So I wanted to thank YOU, it's your money, your taxes too. Thank you for this Christmas present ☺

I'm absolutely stunned by the Christmas Market ❤ I love the atmosphere and the decorations, especially the tower. In Germany, we call these types of towers "Pyramids" ("Pyramiden" in German), and they traditionally originate from the German region Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) - my home. The pyramid in Tokyo also resembles the traditional one. ❤

Merry Christmas Sarah. It looks like the weather is fairly mild. Have you experienced a “white” Christmas before with snow? The souvenir mug is a nice keepsake. It always fun to see you calculate the currency exchange in your head for all the foreign viewers 😂

Merry Christmas! 🎄 I haven’t experienced a white Christmas as far as I can remember! It rarely snows in Tokyo ☃️ Hahaha I try my best to calculate the currency exchange 😂

It certainly has the vibe of a classic Christmas market in Germany, especially with the wooden market stalls! The churros are an interesting addition 😂 but at least it was tasty, even if it was overpriced 😅 !

*Camera man is wrong.* 1. Mulled wine is right for Anglo-Saxons. Glühwein is right for Deutsche. 2. Gløgg is right for Norwegians and Danish. Glögg is right for in Swedes and Icelanders. 3. Christmas Markets are not exclusive to Deutsche.

Yes, it’s not called “gluhwein” everywhere. Geez. Does he think the world revolves around German words? So annoying

5:50 Lol sarah is such a goofball. Btw the food "furanku" is probably referring to the region of Franconia ("Franken" in german), known for good traditional food, sausages included. I remember the locals taking pride in their cuisine when I visited that region once :)

We just finished filming a few Christmas Market videos in Austria! Super interesting to see what Japan has in comparison. Certain things seemed pretty normal..others, pretty strange. 😂 Have you been to any in Europe yet? They're quite magical! 🤩🎄

The Doitsu Center, the Lebkuchenherzen with german text and the Bratwurstschnecke and I guess Currywurst killed me😅. But looks definitely more original than any US Christmas markets. The cameraman could also be Turkish😏 with profound knowledge about german Christmas markets. His spelling of Glühwein is flawless.

I agree with you! The German guy is so grumpy and annoying. She had valid questions. She saw Russian food in the Christmas market in Japan so she was curious if the Christmas market in Germany also had international food. He tried to be condescending but just ended up sounding arrogantly idiotic with “Why would we have RUSSIAN food in a GERMAN Christmas market?”. A nice man could’ve simply answered: “Oh, we just have local food vendors in our Christmas markets in Germany”. And it’s also annoying when he said “It’s called GLUWEIN everywhere”. Well, apparently NOT! Because the entiiiiiire world is NOT Germany and it’s called something else in OTHER countries AROUND THE WORLD. Geez. He’s insufferable. I hope she’s not dating him coz it sounds miserable spending a lifetime with him.

@@meimoran5223 agreed, yeah he's a knowitall, we all "love" them. If he agreed to be the cameraman, he should have stuck to his duties as such and shouldn't have interfered with a content creator's creative work on camera. Especially not on camera. Never heard of this glue-wine bullsh!t he's forcing to use.
