I already loved you but as a Japanese girl, the amount of respect you have for the Japanese culture and people has made me more than just love your online persona but admire the person that you are. Thank you. Truly.

One of the reasons I love your Disney vlogs so much is your excitement in every park you go. It's what the Disney magic is supposed to feel like.

At first I was a little bummed this wasn't an Adam/Gary C duo adventure, only because I could watch those shenanigans endlessly. But now that I'm seeing how gorgeous uhhh EVERYTHING is, I realize the tactic of a solo adventure. I'm not sure Gary C would even have the phone storage to capture Main Street, let alone the full magic of the park. 😂 I'm only 20 minutes in, and I'm enjoying the video immensely!

I’m afraid I’m going to comment way too much on this vlog series! I just watched you walking in the entrance to Tokyo Disneyland & you literally looked the exact same way we did when we first saw their “Main Street”! We were there at the same time of the year in 2019 & the Christmas lights & music at night were so beautiful. Fantasy Springs wasn’t open yet but we made a beeline to Pooh’s Hunny Hunt! I am so loving watching! What a great Holiday gift! Thank You!

Found you from your videos with Jen, but have been a subscriber for a while…I love your videos and similarly I was hoping this would be a Gary C. adventure but I know you scoping everything out first is just the amazing part of your friendship! I’m from Japan but live in the states and the amount of effort you made into learning some of the language and culture ahead of your visit is just such amazing. So respectful! I can’t wait to watch the rest of your stay. ❤ Happy Holidays!!!

Adam, this was one of the most enjoyable videos I have ever watched! I love how you shared everything- your enthusiasm for Disney really shows and you made me tear up several times! I have been to Tokyo Disneyland, and it brought back so many memories! I actually was there on the last day before they closed it all down for Covid. I had plans to go for 3 days and only got the one day. I didn't buy much because like you, I planned to get everything on the last day. Sadly I didn't get the chance. I hope to return someday and fulfill my dreams of Disney Sea which I didn't get to see, but I was so close. I cannot wait for the next vlog!!!!!

Look at all that detail: the moldings, the coffered and coved ceilings! Definitely adds to the warmth of the hotel vibe. About as far away as you can get from mid-century modern. A feeling of permanence and establishment.

I was really hoping the crowds might be a little less then when i was there for your sake. I am normally ok with large crowds but this made me nervous at times. Regardless, I am so happy you made it to Japan at last. Like you, I think it is the best of the parks. From the rides, the cast and the food, everything is just that little more or better. Really looking forward to your next Journey to Japan where you get out of the Disney Bubble and see some Japan proper

Ah, the Saturday crowds. We try to plan our visits to TDR so they're not on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. This last trip we couldn't help it and we went to Disney Sea on a Friday. It was packed and since we don't care to stand in long lines, we only rode three rides. But we still had fun, eating, shopping, and just taking in the Disney magic!

How did you like the Tiki Room? We did it once and didn't enjoy it too much. Along with not understanding most of it, the show (music & singing) isn't the same as the US versions, which we love, so I guess there was no connecting with the show. We skip it now, along with the Country Bear Jamboree, which I actually fell asleep in because I couldn't understand it. =) I suppose it's good to experience it once (as well as the other shows) but then you can skip it on future trips.

And the animatronics in Tokyo Disney are never broken. I'm sure that if they break, they're fixed that same day to make sure the guests have the best experience possible. In the US, they'd be broken for days, weeks, or months.
