I haven’t been to TDL since 2002, and I was able to go with the weeknight pass on Thursday with my mom 😊 I waited 95 minutes in the cold for the beauty and the beast ride and it was so beautiful I cried LOL. It was so worth it!!!

I definitely remember Disneyland’s Country Bear Jamboree having a similar holiday show and Yesterland confirmed it. “A seasonal show, Country Bear Christmas, premiered in 1984, and returned regularly during the holidays.”

The Xmas tree in World Bazaar, the Haunted Mansion with the Nightmare Before Christmas over lay, the special treats and merchandise. Nothing beats any of that. We just got back from Japan on thanksgiving and did Tokyo Disneyland on the Tuesday before we left. I really liked their beauty and the beast themed area. The ride was fun too! What a parade!!! That made me cry. You keep crying, Kitra. I've cried many times at Disneyland Paris. Side note: in one of the parades at DLP, all the floats stop at one point and the characters dance on stages before going back to their floats. It's a little similar to when the parade stopped in front of you both in this video.

If you haven't yet seen the footage from the Tokyo ver of that parade, it's absolutely epic and blows away all nighttime parades imo!

Suzy and Pearla (the mice from Cinderella) DO meet at Disneyland! You can often find them at the character breakfast at Plaza Inn. We saw them on our trip a month ago, and friends of ours saw them this past summer. 🙂 They may not always be there, but that’s the best place to find them.

Good Morning 🌅 to both of you from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. WOW ! Tokyo Disneyland has really put out its Christmas 🎄 🎅🏻🧑🏼‍🎄🎄decor-themes and they have really made it so impressive and beautiful 🤩. As compared to Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR, the Disneyland there does NOT even have the Bear Country Jamboree, and no Yellow Submarine ride, due to lack of space. 😢😢😢 Love to see you two having such a blast in Tokyo Disneyland and other places in Tokyo. I hope you two will visit Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR again soon, and visit HK Disneyland as well. (the only way I could talk my husband into it is if we went snowboarding in Niseko as well 😂😂😂), fortunately, based on the TDR explorer guide February is probably a good month to go to Tokyo Disneyland, so I was OK with his conditions ! Hearing the Christmas Country Bear show was a bit odd since I saw the Christmas Hoedown show that used to play in the 90’s at Disneyland many many times….and this version of the show is a curious mix of English versions of some of the songs from that 90’s show as well as a couple of Japanese translations of songs from the 90’s show (such as Ernest The Dude’s song)….but then there are an equal mix of English versions of new songs we didn’t have (like Trixie singing HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS) as well as Japanese versions of different songs (the polar bear and his penguin buddy sang a different song in Disneyland’s Christmas Hoedown)

Hope the two of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. 🦃🦃🦃 Kitra is correct, nothing beats the Christmas parade at Disneyland. The most interesting aspect of the parade in Tokyo was the lack of Disney music. I’m a huge fan of We Need a Little Christmas from Mame (by Jerry Herman), but I was surprised to hear it at a Disney park.
