Japan is a developed nation facing declining population. Is India in the same state of development?
@ajeetalbert91
@ajeetalbert91 15 күн бұрын
Japan has more money to support it's less number of citizens. And Japan wants more population. India has less money to support extremely high population. And India wants to depopulate. Basic idea is supplys demand. In India, considering unemployment and inflation, our people will stand in line even if a company says to work for all 7 days without any leave. Still a guy who is ready to work for 10 hours a day will get the job and a guy who can work only for 8 hours will be rejected. Nobody can be blamed.

@@ajeetalbert91 India GDP has increased exponentially. Putting billions of dollars in millionaire pockets. But still wages are decreasing. When you say "India has less money to support high population". It is very baseless statement being an Indian can give. Rich are getting rich exponentially. Poor are getting poor exponentially. This is India. If India cannot fix a 10yrs old pothole. It is funny "India is a developing nation". When it cannot satisfy its citizen basic amenities.

@@NithinMSV lol…india’s GDP is only $4 trillion for a population of 1.4 billion which is just $2500 per capita, making it one of the poorest countries on the planet. Even war torn countries in eastern Europe have per capita income 3 times of India’s.

How? are we going to increase wages and yet bring down prices and revenues?? You cant create money from the air. if you reduce prices the revenues go down and subsequently the salaries have to go down. If this happens people who invested in the country takes out the money and the economy falls down further. 1 country alone cant chill out while rest of the world slogs. They will eventually have to pay bcoz prices will rise in their market. This is how economics works.

Won't work. The problem of declining birth rate is cultural and not economical. Women nowadays see babies as burden, something that limits their ability to "explore" and keep them bounded to one thing. If you give them more time and money to compensate for it, they will just use it for holidays and shopping.
