I stay at capsules all the time. Always ask for pod away from main door or you will hear people coming and going all night.

yeah its a good tactic for sure, I'll try to use it more. The big issue with capsule hotels for me is that you're surrounded left/right, up/down with various sleepers and its kinda jarring at first haha

Love the laid back style of your videos and commentary. Planning a trip to Taiwan in April off the back of your journey there and will be taking inspiration from your itinerary.
