It's so eerie how quiet it is. And then that railroad crossing sound at 14:22 echoing throughout the market...

Dusk in Tokyo, when the city seems most alive, yet somewhat relaxed. My favorite time to start a long stroll. Thank you!

I know, I live in America and totally agree. Japan is so amazing. i have been several times and cannot wait to go back, it is truly harmony in motion. We can learn so much from the way they bring up their children, they develop a deep rooted respect for their country, environment, community and each other.

Went to my first Japanese festival at Jujo Ginza. Was with a Japanese friend from downtown Tokyo and he was really enjoying being in a more local Ginza...

@@japan1018 yeah you really feel that Local Vibe there.. one thing I didnt miss was the rush hour train from Itabashi Station to Jujo Station. The reality of being packed like sardines in the JR Trains was a daily occurence.

I love Kita-ku. So many parts of it still have a very Showa era feel. Great video, I can almost feel the soft summer evening breezes.

Higashi Jujo was the first place I lived in Japan right around the time that Pictures From The Water Trade, largely set around there, came out. Nice memories from a very interesting and overlooked area. Thanks!

I don't see any up and down jerky motion on any of your walking video shot on Osmo pocket. Very smooth and impressive. What setting did you set on the Osmo pocket to get that stabilizes footage?

I stayed at the Flexstayy Inn Higashi-Jujo last summer for 3 weeks! It's a lovely neighborhood with friendly people, and overall a very relaxing area to walk around in and just take in the environment. I was always off traveling somewhere else, but now I'm wishing I wandered around Jujo more.. Quick question: which microphone are you using exactly? I recently bought an Osmo Pocket and want to record these kinds of videos for myself/friends/family when I go to Japan this summer, but I'm afraid the camera mic won't pick up all the ambient noises like in your video. Would really appreciate if you could help me out, thanks in advance!
