Plastic. But it looks amazing and cycles extremely smooth . Absolutely all gen5 characteristics, even the realistic size of the aperture on the rear sight is wider than before. Trigger has been improved and magazines as well. Now, it holds 20% more gas .

@ezzyzhoo5139 yes. It works perfectly with gen 3 and 4 . Either way...old magazines in the new pistol. Or latest magazine in the old ones.

Anyone knows if g17 tm gen5 will take rmr directly or still need to buy a special plate for rmr?

@user-nn6xz5tt7w 46° degrees is a little too much. I would be patient and wait for normal temperatures. Never used propane . The kick is good and the gas efficiency is great.
