Just a little clarification regarding the masks. They are not designed to protect you from the virus. Unless your using a specific type of mask that’s been specifically designed and fitted to your face, like what we use in the medical field, they are no good in keeping the virus out. These masks are to contain your sneezes, coughs and thus creating less fomites (vectors that the virus lives on, like sneezing on a hand rail and thus contaminating it). Any type of mask and mask material, including cotton, will help with this. Wearing a mask protects others from you, not the other way around :)

9:17 The B Ikebukuro is the hotel I stayed in last May. Ikebukuro is a cool part of Tokyo with lots of shops and restaurants. It's also easy to get anywhere from there because it's on the Yamanote line.

Thanks Peter. Great perspective for me to be able to see Tokyo from your bike. I’m in Nagoya and the soft lockdown condition is similar. I’m still working so get to ride my bike a little. I always enjoy your work.

Tokyo in lockdown looks like Auckland on a busy day 😂. ATM with our strict lockdown rules you could longboard down the motorway, it’s almost empty.

The good news is that the virus hotspots are cooling off so to speak. Flattening the curve. I'm in Louisiana and it is pretty much like Tokyo. We can come and go but most are out of work and takeout only. Love your vids btw.

This is a great series. I was supposed to be on vacation in Tokyo as I'm typing this but regrettably the trip had to be canceled. I was going to stay at a hotel near Otsuka station for a while and then a ryokan for a couple days. Was really looking forward to experiencing the ryokan, but I'll try again late this year. Seeing the streets of Tokyo from a driver's POV at least helps me feel like I'm there in some small way. Also, your background music choices are top-tier.

That seems scary driving with a bike on those streets. You are brave for sure‼️ Do you think we will peak again with the Covid? And by the way, did you see John‘s new food video?

Peter von Gomm JAPAN, Here in Washington state we are still on lockdown. We got a stimulus of $1200 each adult. If we’re closed another month same thing. For each child it is $500. I’m still working because I work in the ER. 😁✌🏽

Hi Peter, my husband and I have enjoyed watching your stream!!! We have family in Fussa City Tokyo, they have a bike shop there for over 55 years. They are so knowledgeable in motocross, repairs and painting bikes and paint customizing helmets ... It would be great if maybe you can do a clip on their shop. Let know if you would like their information... I’m sure they will welcome you with open arms...
