On this 8.5 hour flight (second leg of SQ12) that departed Tokyo Narita at about 7PM in the evening, I had not one but two Japanese meals! The first meal was served shortly after takeoff.

The above was for dinner.
There were 2 meals served on this flight. For the light meal before landing, I also opted for the Japanese option! Why? This is because Japanese meals like these were only available on SQ flights to and from Japan, and I hardly fly to and from Japan.
For the meal before landing, there was no appetiser, but a substantial bento box.

Both meals were excellent and I was truly stuffed. The flight was pleasant for me, since I had the privilege of flying in Business Class and I had such a comfortable bed to sleep on. Enjoy!
