I lived through the earthquake of 27/2/2010 in Chile, it was 8.8 at 3:30 am. And the ground and the movement really looked like that, The buildings here are very sturdy, it is true that you can see the ground waving like a snake, but apparently the material of things is very flexible. The destruction is more visible in dishes, loose items, some cracks in walls, but in general the buildings look like they are made of rubber. I won't deny that it's something exciting and fun, We Chileans laugh at things.

These simulations are quite accurate because im born in Japan and experienced overall 6 Earthquakes. The biggest of all of them was Noto peninsula earthquake and i was in a Magnitude 4 zone and pretty much is the same in your simulation. The buildings move with the earthquake. Thumbs up to your channel

I think researchers say japan is going into the "Big earthquake era" - It affects places such as taiwan, USA, and everywhere that is near japan - there's a risk of a M8 happening in japan these years - there's a risk of a M8.1 happening in taiwan these years too - a lot of records are broke (Like most M5 earthquakes in taiwan in a year) these days - hope everyones okay! (btw im from taiwan)
