I probably have never seen a rainy travel video on KZbin. Takes some skills to make a grey, rainy day look beautiful, but you succeeded!

Shooting in the rain is one of my favourite scenarios, but equally one of the hardest to achieve decent narrative. Glad you liked it!

Joe, your photos are amazing. I really would like to see your take on some of the places I love in Japan: 1. Okunoin in Koyasan 2. Kami-shikimi Kumano-imasu Jinja (Shrine) in Kumamoto 3. The approach path to Togakushi Jinja (Shrine) in Nagano especially in snow 4. Kumano Kodo path 5. Autumn leaves in the mountains of Ura-Bandai 6. The remains of Takeda Castle in clouds 7. Reflections of Tsuta-numa Pond in Aomori or Mishaka-ike Pond in Nagano 8. Cherry blossoms in Yoshino 9. Autumn leaves of Keisoku-ji Temple in Shiga. 10. Oirase Torrent in Aomori

I really don't understand why you don't have more than 206K subscribers ... you do spend a lot of time in Japan, have you thought maybe some collaboration with Japanese KZbinrs ? Today I discovered Ryoya Takashima, he shoots Fuji and speaks more than decent English (his channel is in Japanese). I am thinking more collaboration may help to grow your channel. Other than that, this is a fantastic start to 2020 and I can watch your videos over and over again, there is always something new to discover at each viewing !

I love your videos in Tokyo. I see things I don’t see anywhere else with such a nice calm and chill vibe. I keep watching them over and over. It gives me so much inspiration to try and take pictures at places I don’t normally go to or pay attention to things I don’t normally pay attention to. Thank you.

Hello Joe and Elly, oh the rain, camera and yes it is a challenge but those shots, oh yea keep them coming. Ahh those photos, yep must get some more of those for sure, so enjoying this, oh Japan missing you. Autumn leaves, bridges, water Fruity nice, hey Joe how heavy is your camera bag mate? What lens did you use for those night shots, there really lovely, right I have steak and noodles tonight, take care you guys.
@joeallam4 жыл бұрын
Autumn leaves and bridges, a cracking combo for sure! The camera bag when carrying everything (flying/transition between cities) is around 10-12kg including MacBook Pro. When out and about shooting, it's probably about 6-7kg
