Loved it. Just loved it. The autumn leaves in their vibrant colors mixed with goofing around in the leaves like a kid. Everything one needs. Kudos to your choices of colors and the peaceful piano piece playing in the background. Definitely more of the parks. Hopefully you can see the others in the morning shimmer.

As an Aussie also, I have to agree. Autumn here in Japan is magical. Especially since we don't have the colour change in Australia like they do here. We have some beautiful autumn leaf spots in Kansai like Mt. Shosha and Minoh Park which you might have visited when you lived in Osaka. I think that Shinjuku Gyoen Mae actually looked better than around Meiji Shrine. It's my number 1 pick.

we visited the Shinjuku park on our first trip to Japan in May 2017.....nasty habit of arriving at the park on the wrong side, having to walk the length and breadth to find that same entrance you guys used! Then we exited the wrong side to what we needed. WHAT AN ADVENTURE THAT WAS (Sore feet were had by the end). Pro tip, if your hotspot you have been using for navigation goes flat, plenty of "YOU ARE HERE" map signs around Shinjuku, we found our way back to accommodations based on those (i had been snapping pics of those signs the whole trip....). Did the same "wrong side of the park" trick again with the park next to Tokyo Dome the following day.... another great video :D Very enjoyable, especially seeing a place i have actually been!

I just got back to Taiwan from Tokyo a week ago, and I witnessed the same yellow leaves as you did in Meiji Jingu Gaien. Stunningly beautiful, but it was getting very crowded since I arrived there about 11:00. I think the greatest part is we came from different countries but at this time we saw the same scenery and this video recall my memory so vividly. (Sorry for my writing, I am not native English speaker) :)

Yes you’re right that view from the second park has that NYC look and vibe. Are there any parks or fields or orchards with visuals like those in period piece movies of feudal Japan in autumn. Are there any parks or gardens by the artist Isamu Noguchi near you? I’ve been to one, but he’s famous enough to have one in all corners of the globe. I’d be interested in seeing if there’s one in Japan. A side topic. You’d make a great Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop. Just add the right wig.
