I agree! Even the smaller systems are well loved and taken care of with pride!

Very nice video! The beginning reminded me a little bit of Pokemon, maybe because of how the Tram looked like. I liked the compilation of your vacation because there are no random cuts, and like someone mentioned here before, it has a certain narrative, therefore, making it more interesting. I am looking forward to more videos of this kind. Thank you!

@6:18 which city is this tram operates in?
@Luke_Starkenburg4 жыл бұрын
This is in Sapporo. The Sapporo streetcar operated mostly older types, but there were 2 or 3 of these sleek modern streetcars operating.

Lovely shots, another fantastic video with some great angles, variety of subjects and well edited as usual! I like the mandatory coin balance ;) There's a strong sense of narrative about this which I really like, and no unnecessary narration, just pure atmos 😀👍 When did you go? I almost made it to Japan this year but the situation deteriorated just prior to our visit. I was so looking forward to taking the metro services and Shinkansen down to Osaka.

Thanks so much! This video was a little experiment to try to encapsulate my whole vacation in a short video! We bought a Japan Railpass in Chicago the day before we left on vacation and we booked many of the trains the day before the train trip to make sure we got seats we wanted. We spend a few days in Tokyo, then took the Shinkansen train to Nagano, then took the Snow Monkey Express train to Yudanaka, where we stayed for 3 nights and spent 2 days visiting the snow monkeys for a few hours. We then took the Shinkansen to Omiya where we changed trains to Hakodate, going through the tunnel to the northern Island. We spent just one night in Hakodate and took an express train to Sapporo. They are working on extending the Shinkansen all the way to Sapporo but it won't be open for a few years yet. We spent about 5 days in Sapporo riding the streetcars, going up the mountain, going to the Sapporo Brewery, and going to a historic village which is a tourist attraction. We then took the express train and the Shinkansen back to Tokyo where we stayed for a couple nights before flying home. It was a great trip.

A few years ago I took the train from Tokyo to Osaka and spent about a week there. It was a lot of fun. I spent a few nights in Nagoya, Osaka, Kitakyushu, and Kumamoto. I took the train back to Osaka to fly home. I also flew into Naha, Okinawa and spent a week there. To get home, I took the overnight ferry from Naha to Kagoshima and spent 2 nights there. Then I hopped on the Shinkansen to Osaka to fly home. I really love Japan and can't wait for my next trip there!

Thank you. I don’t know how to handle things like this. They did credit me on the screen, but they didn’t ask permission to use my video. I’m not sure if I will make a claim or not, even though their video has 5 million views already!
