In the 90's i think there were barely any cameras , now these guys race in the modern times. Very respectable
@indigoism60894 жыл бұрын
Still very few cameras on the C1 line now, just watch out for the undercover cops with the lights that pop up once they get you. Most places are still camera less.

I drive a truck on the highways around Tokyo, often heading from Narita down to Osaka, Nagoya and back. Usually go through the C1 or B line around 4 am ...I see a lot of racers at night...us truck drivers usually try to make way for them when we can. And some of us who don't have limiters on our trucks also race in our own way. The Tomei at night belongs to us! We own the night.

If you can, try the shutoko revival project mod for Assetto Corsa. I run a cheap Thrust master wheel and a vive, it's absolutely surreal.

@@tubbs2132 I love that mod. Bad thing is I'm only 15 and there is no way my parents are gonna get me a setup. I still have a blast on it though regardless, I gotta get a job soon 😅

This was my dream too. Sitting in my bedroom in East Yorkshire (UK) reading Japanese Performance magazine and then buying my first copy of Option magazine from Japan Centre when I visited London. Then when KZbin came out and I was able to watch old Option videos of racing on the c1, just incredible. After I graduated, I was back home in Yorkshire trying to find a job and I just started to try and learn some Japanese phrases and a bit of the alphabet which meant that when I went to Japan, I wasn't nervous as I felt that I knew enough Japanese to ask people for help if I was lost for example, so I could explore and treat it as an adventure. It also meant that I could ask the Japanese guy standing beside the white R33 is this his car. I think I got this opportunity to go in this car because I just followed my interests and also some good luck at being in the right place at the right time when I was in Tokyo

@@Paracetamolchild Wow. Awesome story, glad you followed through your dream that's sick!
Hey, question: Do you know by any chance how people in Japan feel about street racers nowadays? Are they he;d in the same low regard as people who do the same in the US or the UK ?
@Paracetamolchild2 жыл бұрын
hey, I'm not quite sure to be honest. I can't help but think that they'd be thought of as reckless by those people who don't "get it" or who aren't in that world in someway.
