Tokyo Street Drift

My friend and I drove down to a shipping area in Shinagawa and noticed a lot of tiremarks on the road. It was awesome cause people set up with chairs sometimes and watch in the middle of the road. All the drifters cover their plates, and it's pretty sweet to watch.

External waist gate. Basically exhaust gases that are not needed to turn the turbo as its up to pressure already. Normally these would be sent down the standard exhaust but with an external waist gate they are sent down a separate pipe, normally with no silencer.

no police,a wide isolated road and a silvia s14..my heaven...one day i will get one till then i will watch on youtube...in greece there are few and they are expensive.especially now that drift culture has raised up here..noboby wants to sell them..the same thing happended with toyota corolla a386..back then you could get one with 1500-2000 euro in a good condition and now its 7000-10000 :(

@s14zen It is a Mark II indeed. I've been doing some research on them. The Chaser taillights are definitely different. And the engine is probably 1JZ I6 with maybe HKS exhaust mods due to that distinct sound.

@CHRISGT34 if you look at the tail lights it's a JZX100 Mark2. I don't think it's a 2jz.. I believe it belongs to Haraguchi... a member of a loco Chiba-ken drift team called TEAM MAGICIAN. I just met up with him this pas March.

@dumbleisforme most cars don't flip when drifting, (unless you hit a wall or something) but if it's a worry, just lower it a little, modify the suspension a some, shocks, sway bars, etc... It does wear the engine a little quicker, but the biggest damage it'll do is to the tires. But then, I'm no drift expert, it's just what I've seen and observed.

@s14zen Hey I was wondering if that black car is a Toyota Chaser JZX100 with the 2JZ engine in it? I thought it was silvia at first with with an RB26DETT swap, but it definitely has a bulky sedan body and I know the 2JZ is very similar to the RB26DETT

@kinglynx It depends on where you drive. On the highway, cops will chase you even if you drive faster than 300km/h. But on the normal streets, cops won't chase you cuz it's too dangerous to. But they would take photos of your car and license plate. Watch out
