Sorry for your loss. My dad was killed in a car accident while on his way home from work, 25 years ago next week. I was 24… it destroyed my family, emotionally. He was truly the glue that bound. This will be my mom’s 25th consecutive Valentine’s Day without my dad. She never remarried. I once overheard here best friend ask her, about 3 years afterward, if she would ever consider remarrying. My mother said, “my husband died. He was my one and only. That’s all there is to it.” Her friend never asked again, I assume. Prior to that moment, I had respected my mother immensely. After that moment, I’ve respected her on a level that I can’t put into words. She’ll be 82, this April. Anyway, it never gets easier. You just learn to cope.

These cruise videos just keep getting better and better! I must admit I was growing a little tired of the FC flight videos as they are all very similar experiences and followed the same path, but ever since you expanded into train and sea travel the channel has gone to a whole new level. It's particularly heartwarming seeing you share the experience with your loved ones, and it doesn't look as though you take a single day of the lavish lifestyle for granted. Wish you many more days living your best life, Will!

The way you eat and drink is what makes you so good at making these travel videos look absolutely luxurious. Its hard to convey over text but the way you video yourself sipping coffee and eating steak gives me the feeling of luxury. Others dont hit that mark as well as you do. You and Jeb are the only two I've ever seen convey it so well.

Oh no, your beautiful mum and her poor broken ankle. Bless her. Although I can't imagine why anyone would want to watch movies while on a cruise but still found the outdoor theater cool. For the amount this cruise cost one should absolutely expect everything they need be in working order. For many if not most, a 2k coupon on their "next" cruise on this ship will never happen. So for those completely wheelchair bound were cheated. A food coupon would've been more useful. Which I think would've been far more appreciated. Will, you have siblings??? I'm surprised you haven't brought each of them along on one of these amazing adventures. You're a grand son. Love how you took such lovely care of your mum. This was my third favorite cruise. The riverboat was my first.

Your parents have raised such a wonderful, kind and considerate man. Every time you bring them along with you, the closeness, love and respect you have is so lovely to watch. I fell in the beginning of September whilst walking our dogs and broke my Fibula just under the knee and mid shaft, and a very bad spiral fracture in the tibia, resulting in surgery to have a Tibia rod fixation, plus extra screws and plates. Xrays a couple of weeks ago shows that it hasn't healed yet, and its going to be at least another 3 months on crutches, so I understand the frustration and discomfort your poor Mum has been feeling. I'm sure that a fortnight spending quality time with you has helped in her recovery even if it was just to better her mental health. It looks like you both had a fabulous time, and I look forward to your next adventure! X

Thank you for pointing out the broken elevator. I use mobility aids frequently, and have cruised a few times now. I'd say 90% of the companies we've cruised with have the attitude of "oh well", when a disabled person complains about accessibility issues. When able bodied people complain about it too, that's when they finally listen. I've complained and been told "there's nothing we can do", although one company gave me a staff pass so I could use their goods elevators around the ship unaccompanied! I've never had cruise credits or OBC even offered in compensation for having major parts of the ship inaccessible. I am very glad they stepped up to compensate, and we're glad to assist with other things with your mum. I hope she's healing up well!!

Was so happy to see this (and your mum!). I've been on 11 Celebrity cruises with extended family groups from young children to elderly parents (including the ship you're on!). I've never stayed in suites, but have stayed in balcony, concierge and Aqua classes. The staff is amazing on Celebrity. The pool deck attendant obliged when the elderly folks in our party requested a different style of chair that would be easier to get up from. The attendants set up the same chairs, every day for the rest of the cruise without being asked. Being able to get a full English breakfast, including black pudding, and at the buffet no less, is something I look forward to every year. Was surprised you never made it to the Sunset Bar at the aft of the ship (great for sunsets). It's the best place to grab a cocktail and read a book on a lounger when the weather is nice. Seeing both elevators to the Retreat deck broken was a bit of a shock. Celebrity is usually far better than that. Watching this makes me want to book another cruise!
