Thank you so much, Ryuhei! I’ve been living in Japan for 7 years but I never knew about the stairs! I was like a kid when we were going down the stairs and I loved seeing the orange details from inside the tower. Haha it was fun! Have you tried using the stairs? :)

Another great video Hana, thanks. I think that I preferred the sunset from Tokyo Sky Tree but Tokyo Tower wins for the night view. Also it seemed a lot quieter than Tokyo Sky Tree - a good thing for me! It was cool the way that you could come down on the 'outside' of the tower and I bet you got a different vibe that way.

I agree with you! Both towers have their own merits! ❤️ Tokyo Sky Tree is definitely the more popular tower right now so Tokyo Tower was a lot quieter for sure. It was easy to move around! I actually never knew about the stairs until we planned on shooting at Tokyo Tower! I really loved that part! I had so much fun and it was definitely a different vibe. I heard that if you ascend the stairs, you get a small certificate for it. Maybe I should try that next time!

I used the staircase when I was a kid. Yes, it was quite easy to went down the stairs.

The night view is so amazing! Tokyo Tower from what I watched is so much better than Eiffel Tower in Paris. Eiffel Tower is so limited in space to stand on to view(lame) A add on the list to see. Wonderful scene from the top.

Yes! I was very pleasantly surprised! :) I don’t usually go up to see the view from Tokyo Tower since I love seeing Tokyo tower but it was a good experience! 🥰 I highly suggest going to Mori Art Building for a beautiful view as well or Shibuya Sky!

Im doing my A levels (in highschool) in germany and I will visit tokyo in 20 days. Will I be able to benefit from the high school student discount? I got a student card from germany, wonder if that is accepted in japan as it is from another country

Hmmm…I can’t find any information online about whether you will be able to get a student discount but they do offer student discounts to high school students and elementary school students.
