Me and my mate are going in November and I can't wait. We're in Manchester but the flights up here are very pricey, so instead we're going with China air for £475 return. Leaving Gatwick to shanghai, the a few hour break and then fly into Tokyo haneda, same on reverse except we'll be landing back in Heathrow. Even with the cost of the train down and hotel near the airports the day before and after it still worked out hundreds cheaper! And we got amazing baggage allowance and reserved seats. Did you take cash? And if so how did you find spending the 10,000 yen notes and that's all I've been given and I fear it's like our £50's where nobody wants to take them

@@JjustBoy that’s a good price please let me know how it was with air China, we took cash as everyone told me that lots of places don’t take card but to be honest there were plenty of places that took card and I was worried early on about having so much on me all the time. If I went again I wouldn’t take as much cash, we spent about £1100 between us whilst there (but I’m stingy) as for the 10,000 notes they weren’t a problem to use, thanks for the comment and have a great time

@TravelAdventuresWithIanMelton awesome thank you. I was worried the notes would be to big. I'll defiantly let you know how air china is. The first down side I've found is you can't check in untill 3 days before and there isn't an ap!
