I saw in The Hollywood Reporter that Season One was originally supposed to be 10 episodes, would love to know what was cut and what was pushed up to fit everything into two less episodes...

Great interview! Like hearing all the behind the scenes because it definitely takes a village to make a successful series like Tokyo Vice. Season 1 was so good. Definitely can't wait to see what happens in Season 2. The cast is fantastic and Ansel's japanese is amazing in this.

@@NetMensh shame? im sorry but my opinions and choices arent controlled by media consumption and tv shows. shame for continuing to watch this and support the career of someone who hits on teenage girls. we are doomed

@@NetMensh i dont care about entertainment that much to be upset about 'missing out' on a pointless tv show when it boosts the career of a predator. maybe look more up because there were multiple allegations of flirtatious behavior with minors., as young as eighth grade and they have photos and proof of it all. the 17 year old girl was just one of the girls ansel was flirting with on snapchat. unfortunately she took his bait and actually met up with him. && to me one allegation is enough. the mindset that someone needs to abuse multiple people for anyone to take it seriously is lame. 17 and 20 is a large age gap when one person is an adult the other not. its also not like she was well into 17. he started to snapchat her and talk to her before she turned 17 so technically she was 16. the girl said in her post she felt like she was a kid and not mature enough,,, so just because *you* think its okay doesnt mean she did and it doesnt make it ok either.

@@NetMensh 'separating the art from the artist' is a reason why there r so many predators and terrible people who still have careers and a platform, like the one in this very interview. i detest that phrase. it does nothing but help abusers and get their shows renewed for second seasons. how about just dont watch it? thats a good one to use. there are plenty of other shows to watch and at the end of the day entertainment is not that important

@@NetMensh ezra choked someone in public.. that wasnt a "private moment" it was in public and thats why people were able to record it and post it. there is solid evidence and photographs of ansel flirting with teenagers.... idk how this girl can prove she was assaulted unless she pulled her phone out during it and decided to film herself which is highly unrealistic..
