Yes it is covered to Kawazu. Take the Odoriko Express Train from Shinagawa Station to Kawazu Tokyo Wide Pass covers Yamanote line and other JR lines

I would appreciate your guidance for the following questions: I saw low availability of reservation seats, did you book on the same day you would travel? With TWP can I go to the Jigokudani Monkey Park? (on the reserved seats screen I saw the destination station "Nakano") thanks in advance

@@franciscoac4717 Thanks for visiting my channel. It depends on the destination and days. I was able to get reservation for that Express train to Kusatsu on same day and no luck for Kawaguchiko and Yuzawa. Once you got your TWP ticket please reserved seats if you are sure of your itineraries. Yes, the TWP shinkansen is covered only until Sakudaira. You need to take another local train to Nagano station then bus to Jigokudani Monkey Park.

@@mommybubble4750 Welcome. Yes still worth it. You can use it as well for JR trains within Tokyo or Coming from Airport with Narita Express train. Make most of it.

Loved ur vid- Question: I saw you buy the Tokyo wide pass the day you arrived and the following day you went to your destinations, Gala, Mt Fuji , and the rest . I heard one needs to reserve tickets in the shinkensen trains like two months in advance, is it true? Or Can I reserve my tickets one day in advance? Would appreciate your guidance.

@@tobiasbrizuela1312 Thank you! You can reserve tickets one day in advance as long as the date does not fall to National Holidays and peak season (Golden week, Obon, Winter Holidays). Besides you can go to the non reserved car (just go earlier than departure) to secure the seat.

@@albertoperel8541 if you include on your 3 days then yes. If you spend 2-3 days in Nikko then TWP may not be that useful. Instead get the Nikko World Heritage Area Pass.

@@paulr9591 Yes it goes straight. There are only few running in the morning and afternoon. Better check the train schedule. Tip: Go to Car 1-3

@@pinoygaijintravels Salamat, also I have another question, the NEX train pass it says it’s valid for 14 days? That’s my understanding from the website. That would be useful because there are a total 5 of us traveling. 3 adults, 1. 16 year old and one 5 years old. I was also looking at the Jr pass for 7 days. We are also planning a quick trip from Tokyo and kyoto round trip. With that alone will spend about 1000 round trip. Plus traveling to Mt fuji and gala yuzawa in December will add up to $1700 + . Not including the base ticket around from Chiba to Tokyo. What would you recommend? Should I buy the NEX ticket along with the Tokyo wide pass and just pay for the tickets going to Kyoto. Or will the JR pass be more useful. Thank you much and I am so sorry for asking too many questions. It will be our first time traveling to Japan.

@@CherylBaldovi Yes, NEX Train pass had 14 days validity. If you are traveling Tokyo to Kyoto roundtrip that is 28,840¥ +15,000 twp + 5000 NEX almost same price with JR railway pass of 50k¥. If you have more long travel using Shinkansen within 7 days then jr pass is worth it. But if your itinerary is just Tokyo, Kyoto Better get NEX, TWP and just choose shinkansen/overnight bus its practical. If you are budget conscious.

@@Khalidestroyer You can use this for JR trains and some local trains. Subways are under Metro which is a separate company, that means a separate pass. If you look at the train map, most of JR and Subways have interchanges, so this pass is good enough.

Yes, you can in mainline but can't fully utilize it since local lines to go around are not JR. Better get the Odakyu Free Pass thats covers Enoshima-Kamakura.
