Good thing I found your video. We are going there next week and I have been checking other videos before about the tour, but your video explained so much in detail and is very very helpful. I booked the 3pm slot because all the morning ones are gone, and it’s good to know we can be there early to check the souvenir shop & the food hall. Thank you and keep it up!

Thank you for watching. I'm glad you liked the video. As for the audio guide, I'm asking the studio now. It seems they only sell as a package with tickets, and don't sell at the entrance. Everything in the studio is in English, so you have enough signs and videos to see in case you cannot get English audio.

@bennykoh Жыл бұрын
Hi Kenchan, thanks for the video. It was great that you pointed out the difference between this studio tour and the Harry potter rides at Universal Studio parks. I fully agree that you should watch at least 1 of the Harry potter movies before going to this studio tour. The ticket prices are not cheap so I will need to think whether I should go to this place especially since i am heading out of Tokyo from Narita Airport.
@tokyokenchan Жыл бұрын
Hi. Thank you for watching. Yes, even locals didn't know what the studio tour was first. As you mentioned, it's expensive for the facility and the foods. While it's understandable for the very limited number of customer can go in at one time slot, it is not for everyone visiting Tokyo.
The steam engine on display there isn't the real engine they used in the films, the real engine they used in the films was 5972 Olton Hall and that's on display at the UK attraction. This one in Japan is actually 4920 Dumbleton Hall.

Great video. Tokyo has more and more attractions. I've been to the UK Harry Potter tour and the Tokyo one here looks very nice. I have a side question, I want to visit Ghibli Park when I go to Japan this year and tried to get the tickets online. I managed to get tickets to the warehouse but the other parts were sold out for international buyers. Is it possible to buy the tickets locally last minute and how so I do it? Thanks in advance 😊
@tokyokenchan Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. As for the Ghibli Park, I think even locals cannot get in last minute. If you get phone number in Japan, you maybe able to purcahse at Lawson's machine if available. I saw both international site and Japanese site now, and the Japanese site has more tickets avaiable, but The Hill of Youth is only sold as a set with the Warehouse in Japan. The Dondoko forest is sold out in international site and still on sale in Japan, but very very limited slot of certain date. 😅
@bunnypop6018 Жыл бұрын
@@tokyokenchan Thank you so much for your reply. I didn't see the Hill Of Youth and Warehouse package in the international site 😢 I guess I'll have to return to Japan again to visit the other sites

Hello. In case you like to add the English Audio after purchasing the tickets (or if you purchased at agency which has no audio option), you can contact them and add it. If you open the page between 9:00am~16:00 in Japan time, chat box shows up so you can ask there.

@tokyokenchan Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. It seems the facility is basially not made to go back. But before you go out of the dark forest, you can go back and look around as there is no border and restriction. I came to the restaurant too early for lunch so I asked if I can come back later, but I was told no. Hope you enjoy there anyway!

Hello KenChan Great Video! I hope you can answer my question. Can you still enjoy this tour if you are going alone/solo/by yourself? I will be going to Tokyo by myself, and I don't know if it is embarassing to go by myself. Arigatou!
@tokyokenchan Жыл бұрын
Hello! I'm sure you can enjoy by yourself too. It's more like a museum so you can take your time to look around. If you feel some photo session are intimidating (even for 2 or group), you might be able to skip. But it's never never embarrassing. :) Hope you have a good time in Tokyo and Harry Potter.

Hi! How many hours do you need to allot when visiting Warner Bros Studio Tour Tokyo? We are planning to go as early as 09:00 A.M. then will go to teamLab Planets TOKYO. I wonder if I can do it at the same day?
@tokyokenchan Жыл бұрын
Hi. It's possible if you could visit the teamLab at the end of the day. I spent about 5 hours at Harry Potter but if you walk thorugh the studio, you can finish in 1 hour. Even if you stay by 2 or so, you can be the teamLab by 4. Harry Potter is in the other end of Tokyo, it takes about 1 hour by train.
Question…if I reserve for noon entry…can i eat there first before the tour…? And is there a time limit? Great content btw

Thank you for watching. It seems usually you can enter the building one hour before the tour time. So you can eat there before the tour.
