Hi, Glad I found your video on these pure malt pen. I am wondering if i can change the refill from a ball point refill to a gel pen refill for the last thin full oak pen you showed us. You mentioned that it’s a Mitsubishi 460 refill. What is a compatible gel pen refill for this pen you would recommend ?

I've been using the "last" Pure Malt shown - the metal, one-colour thin ones for a few years - bought the pen and pencil as a set while in Tokyo. They're still going strong and developing a nice patina. It's funny you said they were more feminine -- I bought them to use in my office and felt they were more business-like. (Nothing says "I'm NOT on the fast track to being the boss" more than showing up at a senior level meeting with a plastic, 4-colour pen.)

Any Pure Malts that take a standard Jetstream refill?

I'm in love with the Jetstream Pure Malt 4 + 1. I've wanted a multi but the profiles I've seen often turned me off to them. Is this a limited release? I myself am a Frixion addict but prefer the profile of this much more, could I possibly use any Frixion refills with this?

i dont think you can, because frixion refills are shorter (the 0.3 ones) and for the 0.5 and 0.7 the diameter is bigger than the Jetstream refills

Pretty much any typical japanese capless gel refills fit in the signo pure malt. Sarasa and energel refills all work good. Don't know about the rest
