I really adore movies that use Sony Digital HD camera at that time. It has charms. The Highlight in particular, easily to overexpose. And certain aesthetics that we cannot get from our CMOS sensor camera today. It really something else when transitioning from analog to digital in early 2000s.

All about lily chou chou hit me on an emotional level, especially since I can relate with the sense of escapism the teenagers seek in her music, they can feel the 'ether' which for me is the shelter and separate world music sends me too. The music is described as a catalyst for emotion which is evident throughout the film as it affects the teenagers while they go through their own problems, the film is all about lily chou chou because its all about the connection between the power of the music and the hardships the teenagers are faced with as they seek peace in the art that her music is. A truly beautiful film.
