This art is inspired by Serial Experiments Lain, it's an interesting psychological anime that asks questions about the newfound uprising of technology and the internet. While the story can be confusing at times, the art direction is fantastic and it isn't an insanely long watch either. This was a great mix to listen to while working/studying, thanks. The art is a perfect fit as well.

I listened to this playlist many times having no idea it was about Lain, just bc i like breakcore then i started watching the anime a couple days ago, and when i got to the scene where she says that "we are all connected" line, I got stunlocked because i knew those words, but didn't at the same time.. and finally realizing the origin of them had me freezed for 1 min like "wtf just happened" We are all connected indeed

@@shakulaka Sometimes I wonder where the way we treat genres with this sacred-ness even comes from. I remember punk old heads saying Green Day isn’t “real punk,” you have to listen to… Aus Rotten or whatever to fit in to their exclusive club. Now rap is having its moment with all the mumble rap haters who miss old school rap. Frank Zappa has some really interesting interviews about the way we associate different rock genres with different hairdos/fashion sense etc (glam rock, grunge, nu metal, etc) and how arbitrary it all is and how a lot of it can be traced back to marketing, largely starting with The Beatles.

Good tracks. Some of them I’ve heard before, some were new. This seems to calm my existential dread. I recently unlocked my ajna (the third eye).
