Good bunch of kids who put in great effort and deserve to be heard. Dont know if they'll last long - they've got some talent and their lyrics have punch but they need something beyond just a Buzzcock sound. Hope I'm wrong and longlive!

I love the Rakes. Comparing them to bands people think they sound like is a waste of effort. They're a good fun band. Enjoy them. Sure, there's a load of influences in there, but they're nonetheless unique, and they write some great songs. See them live if you can.
