So good to see you come back to Foundation for the Demo! I've been watching you play Foundation for yeeeeears. When I saw the Demo and read the price was going up with the release I finally picked up Foundation Beta while it was on sale on Steam last week. Wow so much improvements with the Early Acces. Definitly pick it up again after release. I think I am not playing the demo because the game is now somewhat a fresh new game and I dont want to spoil that experience.

Yay! No more "honeycomb" villages! I too have been playing for a long time. Started playing way back in 2019 before the minerals and the winter event. It was Feb 21, 2019 (had to look it up lol). Such a great game. Love how it has evolved over time. That new UI messed me up for a long time.

Good stuff. Looks great. It appears from your video that you can change the shape of the painting now? To square? Very nice. I like the icons that show up above buildings. But I hope you can pick and choose which to have visible. I’ll never need to see which buildings have full storage. New character animations are fantastic. Hope for lots of new quests.

I preferred when the land was hexagon shaped personally. It offers such strange shapes that are not very usable imo. I hope they give the option to make the hexagon pieces of land again.

I'm a little baffled here. Foundation early release demo? I've had the game for years. Is this a new iteration that needs to be purchased when it comes out, or is it an upgrade of the one I've got? Not sure how I feel if this means I have to rebuy a game I already own.

Same game, and when released you will own the full version. This is a demo / teaser of the final polished game.

I'm confused. I already have foundation and bought it and i thought I was past demo and early access. Is there a new version out we have to purchase and download?I played the game for months maybe a year by now but I haven't picked it up the past couple months.

There is a totally free demo of the final version out if you want to play it. Limited things to build but unlimited time. You can still play early access and you will still get the full release version when it comes out.
