Not only is there incredible player chemistry this episode, I feel like the editor's comedic timing was also excellent! Not sure if there's a new editor or if someone's just switching up their style, but it really made a difference; lost it when they freeze framed on Teferi revealing his top card from Scheming Symmetry, staring into the camera- great stuff!

At 56:15 a small misplay happened. Forests made into creatures by Nissa, Who Shakes the World have Vigilance (and haste) permanently, not until end of turn so they didn't need to tap when attacking. This also means that Ashlen had more forests she could tap to roll the planar die. It wouldn't have changed the result of the game but just something to be aware of.

Effects that prevent lifegain actually prevent exchanges altogether if the player being hindered would end up with a higher life total. > 119.7. If an effect says that a player can’t gain life, that player can’t make an exchange such that the player’s life total would become higher; in that case, the exchange won’t happen. Similarly, if an effect redistributes life totals, a player can’t receive a new life total such that the player’s life total would become higher. In addition, a cost that involves having that player gain life can’t be paid, and a replacement effect that would replace a life gain event affecting that player won’t do anything.

i was a bit confused at about 52:01... it seemed to me that the exchanging of life totals was inconsistent because for one of the exchanges the exchange didn't happen, but for the other, both halves did... it turns out that the second one was a rules violation, as according to CR 119.7: "If an effect says that a player can’t gain life, that player can’t make an exchange such that the player’s life total would become higher; in that case, the exchange won’t happen". this means for the second time exchanging life totals, no matter the choice of player, the exchange doesn't happen because of the effect of the Tibalt, Rakish Instigator.

I know Prof was giving some shade to Planechase because of the dice rolling, but I still absolutely love Planechase commander. Sometimes, though, you do need to make sure the planechase deck has effects in it that will be more effective on the game, and not like, give everything exalted when everyone is playing planeswalker-focused decks. :P

Ignorant Bliss is from Dissention, it's a Hellbent enabler. The idea was you'd have a bunch of permanents on the board that got better if you were empty handed, and this was a way to turn them on that didn't leave you completely screwed for the rest of the game.
