I had to reply to this as it is so very kind of you. We are so pleased to be able to help but it is bitter sweet when one hands on one's dreams. However, I can think of no one I would rather take on my dream than Scott and Katie. I will sorely miss the surrounding water features and the forest. I'm sure the sheepies will, too. However, Suzanna (sp?) and this cottage are a Godsend. Just because the door is trying to hit you in the butt on the way out, doesn't mean the window that's opened is going to be easy to fit through. Katie, I hear the heaviness in your heart and I'm so sorry. May Hillcroft sing to your heart as well and may you always find yourself surrounded by neighbors who will be there for you in your time of need and may they also be there to celebrate life, opportunities, and holidays with you.

Katie my heart is bleeding for you and I wish I was closer to give you a really big hug which I think you need right now. Poor Scott is trying in his own way to keep your spirits up bless him. It is nice for you to know that people all over the world are thinking of you at this time but sadly words alone are not enough. As well as the newspapers, have you been in touch with local radio and television stations with your story. There must be loads of locals who have a quad and trailer they could lend you for a few weeks just to get you off that ........ island for the sake of your mental health. Its a matter of getting the word out loud and clear. I'm not telling you to suck eggs, I'm just frustrated that I can't do more. I've been with you from day 1 and feel for you deeply. Lots of love. xxx

we will all have to answer for the way we walk what we say and do in this life. As you sow so shall you reap. Love your neighbour as yourself, Do unto others as you would have done unto you. The wicked are going to be removed in Gods timing. we are all equal but the wicked think they are the Elite and lord it over the poor. That is going to end. But so many are spiritually blind and cannot see the sign of the times. I love you both and I know this is difficult, but I know you will work it out move on and be happier. Decent people. Your new home looks ideal. It looks as if the ruins are from an original “black” house. These were then replaced by the more modern “white” houses. The old houses were often used as animal shelters or barns. At least this is what happened on the outer Hebrides, so might be true if other places in the highlands. I live in the Hebrides, this is not uncommon. Lairds (landowners) can do what they want. Your accommodation is tied to your work which means no job no home. Retirement means you have no home also. My advice would be get accommodation separate from work. It gives you more security and make sure you have contract of employment. People think life in the Hebrides is some kind of fairytale, it is not. Life in the Hebrides is a conscious decision and a lot of hard work. It’s not for most people but it is for me.

If there are to find any kind of reason for this , the meaning of it all must be that this new place is where fate has decided is the right place for you , and for your future dreams , and as life rarely goes smoothly, there is just these bumps on your way you have to overcome before , and then it’s time for new and happy things to start, and after some good needed rest , your Both will be stronger than ever, and ready to enjoy life ❤ I wish you all the best 🙏🏻
