Well, here we are almost FOUR YEARS later, and the two Unions & one sheath that I ordered just arrived today. The contributions are 40** & 45** for those who are still waiting. They seem like they have a nice weight to them and seem like they're put together well, but I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. I'm going to watch Toler's longer video on this channel to see if there is a more in-depth explanation of the features and safety. Although they seem nice, I'm not sure if it was worth the wait because im not an EDC kind of girl. Mine will most likely be kept in the car for use when needed. The other one was supposed to be a graduation gift to my son in 2021, but.... He now works in a music store, and I know he will carry and use his new Union daily. My mom got everyone in the family a multitool for Christmas last year, and he uses that at work all the time. The Union is MUCH less bulky than the one he is currently using. Thanks, Mike, for designing a cool tool, keeping everyone updayed on Indigogo, and for getting the tools delivered. I know the struggle has been real for you.

If you’re not an engineer or involved directly in product design it’s difficult to comprehend the plethora of delays required to design, build, test and qualify a product and its manufacturing companies. The first sign of tool wear, defects, etc. results in absolute chaos in terms of investigations of root cause, corrective actions, quality control, etc. Be patient for a high quality, high reliability tool, or push for a polished turd of a product or its manufacturing quality.

Finally got one and things that are a bummer: the amount of effort it takes to get the bits out. Putting back together doesn’t ever feel right. It has that feeling that you’re about to break something even going it just like the instructions stay. It’s always crooked and doesn’t want to go back together. File and saw tools are hard to get out. I have the micro Knipex wrenches (cobra and pliers wrench) a good pocket knife, and a slim screwdriver. They don’t take up much more room in my pocket. They all fit in the Toler union case. I’m always glad to have that configuration and have never wished I grabbed the union instead. All in all I really appreciate the engineering that went into it, and I’m sure if there was a 2.0 version it would be just what the doctor ordered.

Just got mt 3lb finger pinching pocket FULL of two handed made in CHINA union multi toler after 2 years. I can't find the type of steel used for the blade... It's not something I would let a kid use. This thing is an engineering marvel. It will go with me everywhere in the glove box or my moto bag or my lunch box but too big for my pocket or even the belt clip. I like it. I would like it more if it was made in its country it was designed in. I am afraid to get it dirty and have the pez dispenser spring get jammed and the adjustable wrench jam up at just the wrong time. Was the 2 year wait worth it? No Way. I hope that this guy keeps making better tools. This one is very cool. The ultimate fidget gadget.

Considering all the tools in this multi-tool including all the thought that went into to it, the complete one handed operation, the ratcheting wrench, the pliers that can easily become a totally second separate tool and all the other bits and bobs it's actually a really good price for it. This is like a leatherman on steroids for mechanics of any sort. But that's my personal opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry it took a bit to respond. The pliers are 8.4oz and 4.8"x1.77"x0.6". The OMNILOCK™ is 6.2oz and 5.35"x1.77"x0.5". Joined and folded, it is 5.1"x1.77"x1.1".

As someone who always carries a knife regardless of a multi tool, I am wondering if the knife is a removable modul. It would be nice to remove a little weight and girth on the user level if the function of the blade is not needed.

I've worn and used a 20 year old Leatherman Supertool on our little hobby farm every day for 13 years - Leatherman has gladly taken it back at least 10 times and promptly either repaired or replaced it without question when I've broken attachments, broke the pliers tip, it wouldn't lock open, the wire cutters broke - is that the level of service I can expect with this product? - no questions asked prompt service to get a tool I need everyday back in my hands?
