Thank you so much for this tutorial on how to draw Goku and Vegeta's facial features. I actually followed along for the first box of Goku in his happy state. It turned out pretty good for a free hand drawing with guidelines. I've never practiced much with them growing up, but this is a useful technique to keep a memory of when starting any drawing. I've been a free hand artist since I was little, of course then I had no idea of the basics or styles and all those fancy terms artists use today. All I knew back then was that if I wanted to draw something, I just sat down and drew it from an image, or comic book, or online videos and so on. Anyhow, thank you for this and I will continue to re-watch this video to finish the rest of the boxes to make one complete picture. Keep up the good work!! :D :D

Just an opinion, but the last one I’m trying very hard to see him as Vegeta screaming. I feel like he’s missing something. But other than that, very nice tutorial. Especially a happy Goku.

I see it too. It's the fact that his nose is positioned to the side of his mouth and we should see part of the other side of his head, like his other eyebrow. And there's no indication of his infamous V widows peak either. Also, the bottom of his nose should be flat, not pointed, (talking about under his nose, closest to his mouth.)

@Voku I just think that Goku's head was done wrong and his facial features we're off proprtion. Vegeta's head was also oddly shaped. Niether of their noses were corrext, and Vegeta's mouth was just badly drawn. I don't even want to mention there hair, I think I've said enough. I do respect your opinion, but I just wanted to point out somethings as an artist myself. I'm not saying he's a bad artist, I'm saying he COULD have done better.

@@airriq_ the bottem right vegeta face is an actual picture from dbz and it is very accurately drawn, if you hate toriyama art style thats something else but you shouldn't bash the drawer and make fun of his work thats very unprofessional.

@@skeletor1177 Your Comment is unprofessionell, Not his. Bottom left and bottom right are drawn badly, disproportinate and Off Model. It has nothing to do with Artstyle. And the Bottom Right Vegeta was never drawn this way from Toriyama. Toriyama drew a Full Body Shot, which looked perfect in the Sense of Anatomy and it obviously was 100% on model. A rather close shot of the Face of Vegeta while His selfdestruction was drawn by Kan'no in the Anime and it also looked much better than this. Dont try to correct someone or bash someone If You have No Idea. Edit: I love most of Tolgarts drawings and His Artstyle but this wasnt good. He didnt try to be good, He wanted to make it easy thats why it looks bad.
